Fast Mining 3.3 - Mine faster than creative with 8 blocks a seccond!

With Fast Mining you can mine faster, like 8 blocks a seccond. You can mine obsidian an dirt with the same fast speed. You can use all the diferent tools, also your hands an other things to mine (This has nothing to do with you're mining speed). You're only mining fast when the user have the plugin enabled with the user command /fastminin or /fm. The plugin supports multi world permissions, so you can enable Fast Mining only for the admins or something. You must know that the plugin has protected zones support from WorldGuard, you cant mine in a protected region! Fast Mining has also an option to drop items or not. When you mine TNT it don't blow up (for safety if you hit TNT).
Note: When you haven't permissions on your server, the plugin is avaible for all the OP's

Installation:
1. Download the plugin
2. Add the FastMining.jar file and the folder 'Fast Mining' from the downloaded .zip file to the /plugin folder of the minecraft server. Also add the Fast Mining/config.yml file to the folder plugins/Fast Mining/config.yml
3. Add the permissions if you have; (Look at the permissions paragraph underneeth)
4. Start your game and use fastmining!

Allow users to use Fast Mining; fastmining.fastmining
Allow users to enable or disable the item drops; fastmining.drop
Allow users to use the 'info' command to check if Fast Mining is enabled; fastmining.info
Allow all the three things above; fastmining
Allow admin commands (not included in fastmining); fastmining.player

The plugin's called: "Fast Mining".
Fast Mining will drop items in a later version, sorry...

according to the title this is only compatible up to 670, we are on 740 now

I get an "This function is broken. (...)" error, while trying to activate the plugin using "/plugin". Am I doing something wrong?

 

??? This is not my plugin! I never typed This function is broken. (...), the enable command ingame is /fastmining
btw, /fastmining doesn't work in the server command line, you must enable it in game...

 

I cant get it to work with permissions
tried both of these:

The first and the seccond ane must work! Check in the server window if FastMining says that the permissions are enabled, if it is not there's something wrong with your permissions plugin, the the plugin is avable for all the usersan if the permissions are enaed i think you do something wrong with your permissions file, such as wrong world file or wrong user, thinks like that. I hope this helps!

awesome plugin, it's a very nice work, congrats.
I've a notice a bug.
When you hit a block with bedrock and after you hit the bedrock , it will destroy the bedrock too.
If you hit the bedrock first, the bedrock will not destroyed.

Hmm, I thinks I use thit permissions system too, I don't know what's te problem, it works fine for me and alle my friends haven't problems too, I thinks it's not the plugin... I don't know how to fix it, sorry

I don't know java so i can't help you, but maybe you can use an exception,if the id of the rock is the bedrock id, do not destroy it, or something like that...
For me it's fine, cause it's usefull to break bedrock (and i got another plugin "rocketboots" that allow me to fly, so if i fall, i'll be still able to go back into that hole. (I know some other plugin exist for that, but my server is running on my own computer, so i might need that power for something else ^^).
I just wanna told you that bug, to help you.
Cause all of you (the plugin devellopers) are doing an amazing job =), and this is my only way to help you.

No you don't have to fix it ^^.
With minecraft 1.6, when you hit bedrock directly, it destroy it too =).

You must know it's not a fully finished bukkit server, for minecraft 1.6, possibly it's that...

 

UPDATE 2.0 - Item drops!

The new version of Fast Mining is out! Now the plugin drops items when you distroy a block! There's also a shorter command /fm

 

UPDATE 2.1 - Costum chat messages!


The new version of Fast Mining is out. Now you can change the chat messages (also if a message will be shown) and you can change if a destroyed TNT block must drop a TNT item. There is also a bug fixed.
