Over 100,000 servers have used Buycraft over the last 2 years.
What is Buycraft, and why does my Minecraft server need it?
Buycraft enables you to sell in game items/memberships to your community, allowing yourself to fund your server bills to keep your Minecraft server alive. Buycraft is basically an online shopping cart system for your own server!
How will my players use Buycraft?
After you have created a Buycraft account, you are given an online webstore which you can use to promote your items for sale. Your players will visit this website and be able to purchase the items that they want, be it a collection of armour, or a monthly VIP membership.
What can I sell to my users, and how?
Buycraft enables you to sell ANYTHING to your users, from a collection of armour upgrades, to monthly VIP memberships. When a player purchases a product, it is automatically processed on your Minecraft server, and removes all hassle of managing payments by yourself. All these different options will take the worry out of funding your Minecraft server.
Some of the awesome features available:
    • Create donation packages which can reward your players with anything you imagine.
    • Setup advanced packages for memberships ranks, with support for automatic Paypal subscriptions.
    • Many Payment gateways supported! (Paypal, Stripe, Google Wallet, Paymentwall, 2Checkout, Onebip, Paygol, Payza, and Coinbase.)
    • Coupon codes to offer discounts to your players.
    • Run promotional sales to gain attention to certain donation packages.
    • Cumulative ranking to enable your players to upgrade their ranks.
    • Custom variables to offer advanced customisation of your packages.
    • Detailed donation statistics to see how well your server is performing.
    • Multiple webstores per account, with the ability to create sub accounts for your other moderators/administrators on your server.
    • Advanced fraud protection to prevent chargebacks.
    • Webstores available in over 8 languages.
    • You can change your webstore theme and even integrate it into your own website.
    • Everything is hosted by us, resulting in a hassle free and inexpensive way to run your own webstore! The Buycraft platform is updated regularly with many new features added each month.
Have a feature suggestion? Post it below!

  2. This will be a problem with Paypal, you should contact their customer support.
  3. don't call them donations. call them contributions. As "they" don't like it if you collect "Donations" and are not a registered charity. It usually is only a problem if your really start earning money but best to keep it in mind.

    - Shotbow network and other high earning servers or networks
    - Accountant that deals with gaming

  4. For smaller servers its fine, larger networks dont have to refer to them as donations if they choose not too. We do not refer to them as donations in customer receipts etc, or we do not state to players that they are classed as donations., its just marketing from our side to suit smaller servers.
    BenjaminKayEight likes this.
  5. yeah i was mainly talking to each server owner rather than buycraft themselves :D

    Feature request:

Could you add more options for buysigns? It would be nice if the server owner could decide what information is shown on the buysign and in what order. {name} {date} {amount} {total} {package} {seen} These could be options the owner might choose to put on the signs ("total" would be the total amount that player has donated over time, "seen" would be the last time the player was online ... essentials "/seen") There could obviously be dozens of different variables. Maybe there could be an editable config file for sign info?

Also, there should be an option for the player when they are paying to choose to be "anonymous" Perhaps a checkbox or dropdown available at checkout. This would not make the info hidden to the server owner, but it would hide any buysign information and anywhere else that it is public. Also, some players may wish to hide their names, but not the amount paid. Other players may wish to hide the amount, but not their names. So it would be nice if this was divided up :)

I don't know if this idea is possible, but I would like to reward players who perform actions in game. So lets say we need a road built, or we need to dig a huge area down to bedrock. I would like to reward players who dig or build in those areas. Currently, I am using LogBlock to manually track these things and reward players. Is there any way to automate this and have buycraft do checks to the mysql database?
Let's say I want players to dig/build in a certain area. I would go and mark it with a worldedit selection, or as a worldguard region, or it could just be defined as coordinates to buycraft. Every once in a while (maybe once or twice a day) Buycraft would run a query on that selection and reward players who have done some digging/building. They would be rewarded on the buycraft website with some non-transferable server credits, not cash. This "currency" would only be good for purchases on that server and nothing else, and the server owner might have the option to let them degrade, decrease in in value over time.
I don't know anything about coding, so I don't know how feasible this would be ... but it is something I would be interested in. This way, players with less money could get part of the work done with in game work, and they would have the option to finish the purchase with paypal so the server gets paid.

Is there any way to show the full descriptions of the packages in game? So the players don't have to buy the ID before seeing the full info?

    Thank you for your time

You could add such thing as Uservoice. It's free if you have only one agent (yourself). It'd be more comfortable to track, prioritize and clients would vote easier for suggestions using this method. Consider adding it.

  8. We have our own method of dealing with feature requests, thanks for the advice though. :)

    Two suggestions
    1. Coupon codes that only work for players who haven't bought anything from the store yet.
    2. Requiring a permission node to buy something.

Could you add paybyme mobile payment service? payby.me

Suggestion: When adding commands , can you add another option for "Server"...then when that's checked you can specifically choose what servers that command is executed on. This would be helpful when doing cross server VIPs when I only want certain commands to be executed on certain servers upon purchase and helps me not needing a specific permission system that uses MySQL to do cross server ranks with Buycraft for something like VIP.

  12. You can already do this, click the blue edit button on the command.

Oh wow , that has a lot of options.

Why are all of the freaking servers down for Buycraft?

    Infrastructure update.

They aren't right now. I just checked.

Don't actually mean to pay them from buycraft. Only be able to track a referring admin. They user and put the admin (maybe select-able from a drop down) and it will show up on a report. They commissions can be dealt with externally.

Can you make it so you can reset the commands for specific servers?

What about something like this , I can reward a certain user a set amount of money free in the shop like Gift Cards..
Example: Someone just won as this Months top voter, they get $50 to spend in the store. Everything is marked as $0.00 or discounted with how much the user has left in the store. Upon check out they also have to enter a special code so no one else uses it up on their account. This would be helpful to award players donation items from winning things like Top Voter.

This is already possible by using coupons.

It would be awsome if you made a Item designer like enjins. :D
  22. Offline

How so? I don't see anything like this in the options for coupons.
  23. Offline

Just create a $50 coupon. The user will be able to buy things in the store and pay with that.

Could you add paybyme mobile payment service? payby.me

  25. They do not provide easy registration to the general public, thus we are probably not going to add this. We support many other mobile gateways, make sure to take a look into them.

Can you please add a thing for the TOS that shows when it was edited or previous versions to help in payment disputes/chargebacks?
Also is it possible to set something up where you can donate via itunes money? Like you create an app and you enter a server id, and then it gives you all the packages. You can pay with itunes money, or the creditcard on your itunes account?

  27. The first request can simply be added stating in the TOS when you edited it. e.g. "Last updated 03/03/2013".
The request about the itunes card - I dont think that would be used by many, and it would be a lot of work.

Feature request: import my Paycraft.co settings into buycraft or at the very least "download" my previous saved packages.

For those that don't know, paycraft was given to buycraft. Without any communication that I received (may have been spam filtered or w/e) the site was shutdown and all data was removed. Is there any way this information can be downloaded or is it lost forever?

  29. Sorry about the late response time on this, i've been busy. Unfortunately the paycraft database has been lost, so we wont be able to recover your information. It wasn't part of the transfer to also import old paycraft details. If you'd like some compensation, feel free to email support and we'll get you some free Premium :)
