Plugin category: UTILITY Suggested name: WDatLeter What I want: I would like this plugin to delete a players data after a kick, quit, or server restart FOR A SPECIFIED WORLD! I know there are plugins that do this, but they delete the data for the world the player was last in. There should be a config file that specifies the world(s). Ideas for commands: No commands needed for this plugin. Ideas for permissions: wdat.bypass (to bypass the dat delete) When I'd like it by: Yesterday.
Mysticate There is only one per player, stored on the main world. A player can only have one inventory and location.
Necrodoom Then how do plugins like Multiverse work? And does this mean I can delete the player data and it'll only clear your data for the main world? timtower Huh
Essential player data is stored in the Essentials folder. Go there and delete it yourself if you want.
Mysticate Bump = Bring Up My Post, only allowed every 24 hours. And I was talking about the <playername>.dat files. Was trying to say this but didn't came out right: Every world has its own files, that is correct. BUT only the files of the main world defined in the server.properties are used, why? Don't know. But I do know that deleting the files of other worlds is impossible since it is 1 file. And inventory will go along anyways
Then it will be like the player never was on that server before, besides the economy / stats stuff ( can't reset that without modifying plugins )
Minecraft* Bukkit has nothing to do with this. And please use the tahg or reply button to get my attention
timtower nope. I'd probably settle for a plugin that just clears your inventory, xp and armor on server leave... I'd like it registered after they leave because I have inventory modifying plugins on join...
Mysticate https://www.dropbox.com/s/ytf778zpldglvey/ClearOnLeave.jar Clears inventory etc when the player leaves the server in one of the worlds defined in the config Please mark the thread as filled
timtower It takes me 38 hours to code 38 lines timtower Thanks! You're now my go-to coding guy Even though you don't wanna be coding plugins...
timtower oh does your plugin clear on kick or server restart too? timtower It works! YOu're the greatest! EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
