[WIP] [NEED DEVS] KnockbackPVP

Hello, I am currently working on a fun and innovative new gamemode called KnockbackPVP and would like to know if any other devs would like to assist me in making it. GitHub would be used for sharing!


KnockbackPVP

The aim of KnockbackPVP is for you to hit your oponent (they would take no damage from it) of the edge of an arena, or into lava. There would be different kits, allowing varying knockback per kit but this could come as an extra plugin, using a possible KnockbackPVP API!

Can you add some clarification on exactly what you want the plugin to do?

 

Exactly like these servers http://www.minecraftpvp.com/ctf/ except that there are no teams and that players hits do no damage. The aim will be to use the knockback from hits to know a player of the edge of the arena or to knock them into lava.

 

So more like the CookieSlap server?

This one will have two gamemodes:

1. Classic (when you die there is no coming back)
2. Zen (Knock off as many people as you can in a certain time)

There will also be kits that let you receive less/more knockback and give less/more knockback! We will just work on Classic for now.

 

I'm all for doing an open-source plugin similar to theirs. I don't like how they run stuff over there anyway.

Also, I agree. Many big servers only run them so they can make money out of people buying themselves better stuff. Basicly bribery ! Also, many of the big servers turn greedy, cold and official. :/

My problem isn't writing in Allman, my problem is that allman is fucking ugly.

Also, I just tested it with something in Go, and it didn't work.

That's 'coz you need to do it with these {} not these () and also because possibly there were no semi-colons.

Go is a c-like language. You actually can't do Allman in it, which is why I don't write in Allman in other languages. This is what happens when I use your Allman converter in it.
