[WIP] MetadataUtils - Persistent metadata

Been looking into reviving this as one of my lighter projects to write after a tiresome day at in the office. https://github.com/toastedtruth/MetadataUtils

My overall goal of this is to provide some sort of persistency layer to Metadata, bypassing the need for every single plugin to create their own database. It'll be a nifty developer tool if done properly; and I could do with some help on it if anyone's interested (e-mail me: toastedtruth-at-gmail-dot-com). I began work on it yonks ago, then got sidetracked with other projects and so never found the time. As I'm still really busy during the week, I'm not setting a completion date, progress bar or anything. It'll be done when it's done ;P
