Just wanted to know a good app that you can make custom plugins with. Thanks.
IntelliJ is my favorite.
These are the 3 major ones:
IntelliJ IDEA http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/
You need plugins in your IDE to get a good experience with any of them though.
Personally used Eclipse. Most associated with beginners.
There are other great IDEs already mentioned, such as IntelliJ and NetBeans.
You could also use Notepad or pretty much any text editor (e.g. sublime text) to write out code and use Java compiler to compile but an IDE makes this process easier for you.
if i were you i would use Eclipse, with this application you've got the best overview to everything you need. Just check it out. i'm using it too
I recommend Netbeans, for both its versatility, ease of use, and just the general quality of it. A lot of people don't like it for its looks, but I think they're just fine.
Everybody here is talking about IDEs and I'm here thinking that the OP meant something along the lines of this: http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/kickstarter-plugin-codegenerator.28480/. I don't know if that is outdated though.
teej107 it's pretty hard to know if the OP doesn't reply....
