So question for you guys, those who have tried vanilla 1.7.2 server how are you handling upgrading a world the size of 23GB? My world is that size, 23GB, it's MASSIVE. And I know when you go from one big update to another, it updates the world files a bit... which it seems to be doing on my server, preparing the start region... but it never finishes... what's a guy like me with a 23GB world to do??? I'd really rather not start from scratch but any ideas. Is there something locally i can do outside of bukkit? I tried using mcedit and opening my world across my network, never loaded (23GB again is a massive size) I get java runtime errors, out of memory, in the end... i mean i have 16GB for the system but still, 23GB... yeah big ole map
Not sure but I can load the map in MCEdit after a while but can't get any new server versions to run on it, can't even get the old bukkit to run it either
I don't have a fix for you but I'm just saying, 23GB is F***ING MASSIVE! My hub world is only 40mb...
Sounds like you could have a corrupted chunk(s). Do you get any error messages from Bukkit 1.6.4? You didn't run this map with the hacked 1.7.2 (non-vanilla) servers, did you?
