    Hello fellow organic matter,

I started using my Compaq Presario cq5700y for running a Minecraft server. I use to run the server off my laptop with no problem, as in no one ever had this "Time Out Error". I concluded this means it is a problem with the desktop. Here are my specs:

    Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II 170u, 2000Mhz (2.0GHz), 1 core(s), 1 Logical Processor(s)
    RAM: 6GB DDR3 (4gb Dedicated)
    Hard Drive: 1TB HHD
    OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional

    Dedicated Network:
    12 megabits down
    7 megabits up

    Autorank, MzeHome
    ClearLag, PermissionsEx
    CoreProtect, ProtectionStones
    Essentials, ProtocalLib
    IsleWorldGen, RandomSpawn
    Multiverse-Core, VariableTriggers
    Multiverse-Inventories, Multiverse-Portals
    Bst_Per_World_Chat, Vault
    WorldEdit, WorldGuard

    Start up log:

    Timed Out:
    [08:13:43] [Server thread/INFO]: USERNAME[/**********] logged in with entity id 2922 at ([Hub] 192.5, 69.0, 256.5)

[08:14:18] [Server thread/INFO]: Username lost connection: Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

I know the amazing Bukkit community will not let me down to finding the answer!

Well, that's your problem - Keep that guy off your server! :D

What happens when you connect from another PC on your LAN?
Does it only affect DrPyroCupcake, or are other people affected?
How many players are on when this happens?
How is your desktop connected, wired Ethernet, wireless, or something else?

Also please paste the startup log from logs/latest.log, your console seems to be removing some lines from potential stack traces.

Everyone gets that error even me, plus he is my best friend and neighbor.

Bobcat00 I connect with a 100 foot ethernet cable. It does not matter if is one person on, or if twelve people are on. They are not all kicked at the same time. The timing between each person is inconsistent. It just happens at random. The maximum amount of people on is twelve.
