    Simple question for the community:

Which GUI do you use to run your servers and why?

I can't find a decent one and was hoping someone could point out the best ones :)

    Thanks,

I went and had a look at SpaceBukkit and it looks freaking awesome, any idea when it will move into an 'open beta' like stage?

    Killburner

McMyAdmin, ever since I started hosting servers in February. Initially I used it because it has a built-in scheduler and handles my backups.

"MC Server GUI" by dumptruckman. Has a kick ass task scheduler and the ability to set up automated backups, among other things.

Well, i wrote my own bukkit gui, because i missed some features in other ones, so i thought its the best to make me a gui wich provides me with the features im missing. You can find it here.

I think there is no "best" gui, because all of them offer different features, and you need to decide wich gui is fits your needs the best.

I got my own too, But nobody can deny that spacebukkit is looking awesome! (and not only looking awesome, try the demo!)
    my GUI: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/bukkitgui/

I agree with Kanshunin that you actually can't call any GUI "the best"
Everyone has to see which features he want. And which functions are required.
To give an example: If you run a LAN server, and you don't have a webserver, you can't use spacebukkit, or it would be pretty difficult to use it.
If you run a dedicated server, you'll need a GUI with support for remote servers.
Some people might want a backup function, others will need a plugin manager, others will need....

None, I've always ran it from command line. I do use the rkit wrapper though for automated saves/restarts, and a simple backup script I wrote (external shell script).

I have to agree with Bertware. I recently switch from YAMS (Yet Another Minecraft Server) which I didn't like how YAMS worked, for instance it wouldn't let me set the listening IP to the Virtual IP of my cluster, I would have to set it directly in the server.properties file. Plus I believe YAMS was runing kind of heavy. Ok long story short backed up my server, uninstalled YAMS setup BukkitGUI and used NSSM to turn it into a Windows Service. (the only reason I started using YAMS was because this feature was built in.) It runs great and has no lagg which is awesome considering its running on a Pentium D processor. Not a big server usually have a half dozen or so players on at one time but it was meant as a small server. Thank you Bertware. As for Spacebukkit the reason I would use it is my not so great hardware would suffer having to load a website as well. BTW the server directory is on a mSATA drive, amazing the performance boost of SSD.

Command line + remotetoolkit is what I use.

I'm not going to not express a personal preference. However, just know this (many will agree)
