Plugin category: Factions/Economy Suggested name: TaxPower What I want: I'd like a simple plugin that taxes a faction based on the amount of power it has each day. If the faction does not have enough money to pay its tax, its maxpower would be reduced to either what it CAN afford or maybe reduced by a certain percentage (50%, rounded up) of its unpaid power (eg. if a faction could only afford the tax for 40 of its 100 power, it would pay for the 40, then lose half of the unpaid, taking their total maxpower down to 70). It would be great if this plugin taxed both factions for their power and players for their individual maxpower. My server allows both players or factions to have bonus power. If this is the case, only a faction's power bonus should be taxed, while a player's total power should be taxed (to avoid double taxation). Players should never be reduced to a maxpower of less than 10. If it makes it simpler, it'd be fine if only only power bonuses were subject to taxing. Ideas for commands: /taxdue faction = shows issuing player how much tax is due for his/her faction /taxdue me = shows issuing player how much personal tax is due that day /taxrate = shows issuing player what the current tax rate is per power per day /settaxrate = admin command to set the tax rate to be paid per power per day Ideas for permissions: taxpower.set = allows /settaxrate command When I'd like it by: Sometime soon. No rush, but I'd like to implement next week.
I don't do much coding, otherwise I'd attempt to tackle this myself, but can someone tell me-- is this not a simple request? (serious question, not trying to be a jerk)
Trump In my opinion this is an average plugin, you need to hook into factions to get the factions and their power
timtower That was my assumption. I don't know how to do any of this though. Maybe it's time for me to start learning to develop. Would you mind taking a stab at it?

Not to beat a dead horse, but this plugin would be amazing. I think if it was developed it would certainly take off, Factions is one of the most popular plugins and this would take it to a new level.
