Solved Stop mobs from despawning

Is there anyway I can do this? I have mob turrets and don't want them to despawn. I heard making them hold dropped items would stop them from despawning; any way I can do that?

chasechocolate Okay, it stops them from despawning now. However, sometimes they are not spawning when I'm far away. (Guessing if the chunk isn't loaded). How can I load a chunk and then spawn a mob? I need around a 500x500 area loaded.

How does this link help? I don't understand where to put that or what command to run to implement it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I dont want animals despawning at all really.
