Does plugin need to rely on BukkitContrib to get to that list or is just optional stuff enough?

Showcase uses BukkitContrib for custom item names that have been set. It displays them.

Maybe I will add more info soon for each plugin. What do you think? or should I keep it the way it is, so to get more info you visit the plugins thread? Then all you pd's can edit the info to your like. Write below what you think...

I think it's fine just the way it is, they're gonna go to the plugins thread anyway.

If you want be a little more descriptive about what they do, maybe categorize the plugins more.

I think it has something to do with chest logging, but I'm not to sure.

 

That's correct - LogBlock's chest logging doesn't work without BukkitContrib.

 

I wonder if I have that option even turned on, not like I check since we use Lockette.

You mean setting custom names?
You need an extra plugin for that. If no-one provides such a plugin, I could implement in NarrowtuxLib for convenience.

Yep, it's a dependency that is automatically downloaded.

 

My new plugin Shortcuts also uses BukkitContrib heavily.
It can listen to user-created keyboard-shortcuts and run commands and chat messages for the player.
