I have tried uninstalling game, uninstalling server stuff, updating java, changeing Start.bat command lines (i dont remember what but something what i got infoed to try out) 10. Have you tried any of the things below? : I have tried removing all plugins and adding plugins but the Block delay and chat delay still stay. Proplem i have: I klick and break BLOCK -> 10+ seconds for the drop to come out & another 10+ seconds to pick it up. Say in chat something : 10+ seconds delay till it comes out. I got 24 mbits download / 2 mbits upload connection. Are you playing and hosting on the same machine?, if you are that is the reason. Then use a seperate machine for hosting and the lag should go away.
I am playing / hosting from same computer. Odd thing is -> Ive used to do this long time and when i tried to add mcmmo and few other plugins -> delay showd up and now it keeps coming all the time even without plugins. OR it was from the newest bukkit updates. Newest 1s might be the reason.... I used to run server and play same time without proplems, i had 12 players + me and i still did not lagg or get any kind of delays. How my computer would suddently slow down that much? it even delays when i run server & play alone there.
You use a lot more CPU power and RAM when you have mods, craftbukkit installed. I have also seen a increate in CPU usage with the last couple of RBs. There are coming alternatives like Mineserver (C++) which is approx 10 times more efficient then the official java based server.
Odd part is the sudden delay. Did not happen earlier, after i tested few plugins it started. Even without plugins it lags. Which is kind a more stranger Lets hope there is some kind of new server running program coming-.-
Ok what the hell, tried again with newest bukkit -> NO LONGER DELAY.. Only proplem is my old World wont load correctly i think, coz when i enter into my mansion -> i start getting end of stream ^^ it wont fix until i create new world and then go back to my old world
