Self-Teaching Java [HowTo]

    Umm... Thanks but... I already now all the java basics... I'm looking for ways to advance my skills that doesn't involve starting over from scratch... And especially not in another language. If I already know the basics, there's no reason for me to start over and relearn them.

    Necrodoom xYourFreindx Game development is a perfect way to learn how to program. The best thing, as stated above, is that just like making minecraft plugins, you get to make your own game and design it yourself. This is what modivates a lot of programmers and leads them to persue a career in computer science. You can actually see the results. No I didn't count to 10 with a for loop that serves no purpose other than gaining experience, I built a full on RPG game.
