Lockpick - Open locked chestsVersion: 1.0 This is my first plugin, so I hope you all like it . Give your users the ability to lock their chests.... but make sure their items are never completely safe. Other players can attempt to lockpick the chest to gain access to the items inside by left clicking with an item selected. Features Lock chests Protect chests against lockpicking with certain items Allow players to lockpick other users' chests Permissions support to only allow certain users to lock/protect/pick chests (with fallback support for OP/not OP) Use a customizable list to specify which items can be used to protect/pick chests A chest can have multiple owners to allow a chest to be used by a group of people InstructionsServer owners Place Lockpick.jar inside your server's plugins folder. On first run, a config file will be saved to plugins\mmbob\Lockpick\lockpick.txt. Inside will be the line: Code: pickitems=265\=1,266\=3,264\=5 The format is <item id>\=<amount of protection/lockpicking the item gives>[,<id>=<amount>[...]]. The default is iron ingot provides 1 protection, gold ingot provides 3 protection, and diamond provides 5, but you can change these to fit your needs. Players Use the lockpick commands (/lp <lock|unlock|addowner|removeowner|listowners>) to control your chest. /lp lock will lock the chest you're looking at, while /lp unlock will lock it. /lp addowner <name> will allow another player to access the chest, while /lp removeowner <name> will disallow a player. /lp listowners will list the owners of a chest. Does this label the player placing the chest as the Owner? Of do mod/admins have to lock and label each chest?
Little Confused, how exactly do you add protection? i tried placing a diamond in it but it doesn't do anything, and when i hit the chest it says 1% protection over and over..help would be welcome OP
PLEASE make it compatible with factions so people in the same factions cant access others chest. OR make it compatible with mcmmo so theres levels PLZ add
Few Suggestions: Customize chance of lockpick success Customize chance of lockpick item breaking customize amount of damage player takes on lockpick failure Separate jar with only the lockpick ability for universal compatibility with other plugins such as LWC or the ability to turn off all chest protection features of this plugin and only use the lock-picking feature. Do this, and you have the ONLY working universal lock-picking plugin available - and my eternal love =P
