    A versatile, player-controlled land management plugin for use with Bukkit/Tekkit/Spigot/Libigot, offering solutions for pvp, griefing, chat, inflated economies and monsters.

    Features (open)

    Towny includes a wide variety of features to offer instant enhancements to your traditional Minecraft server.
    • Allows players to own and manage land based on a pre-set grid layout.
      • Players join towns and purchase plots of land.
      • Players decide who can build, destroy, use "switchs" and use items on every plot they control.
      • Towns can join together into nations, further structuring a server into teams.

    Please pastebin.com your permission node file.

    You probably used a tab, spaces must be used and the parsing is very important. The error shows you where it's badly parsed.

    No, that's about it. There isn't any way to get HC to show the towny tags as far as I know.

    Download fresh, upload it to your server's plugin folder, overwriting the old version.

    I use Towny and multiverse, and i have 5 worlds, but can i do so Towny only works in 1 of them?
    because i will have a creative world, a survival world... and a Townt world, and the players cant build in Survival because Towny says: u cant build in the wild, so i have a big problem!!! :D

    Do they have the 'towny.wild.build' permission?
  6. You just need to goto the world you don;t want Towny in and type /tw toggle usingtowny

    You have multiple duplicate permissions and even permissions which don't exist.
    towny.wild.block is not a valid permission, nor is towny.town.plo or towny.wild

    You also have MANY elements in the wrong places. Prefix/suffix.
    PEX and all permissions plugins are very specific on where elements need to go. You can not place them randomly and hope they work.

    hi i have only just started using towny on my server, i decided to test it first by creating a nation which worked but then i tried to create a town. whenever i try to it says "an internal error occured when trying to perform this command". i dont know what i can do to fix this? If you need me to i will try to give you my server log

    And overall most things seem to be broken with towny for me. Any major changes that need to be adjusted for or something?

    I got a pretty big problem!
    My server got PEX and when we installed towny. Owners cant write to other ranks... its very bad.

    it says: this zone is protected by towny.wilds.

    When i install Towny, people cant see what Owner's write. Im a Owner and it says: You feel so lonely
    ??? What can i do?

    Just finished changing my server from iChat completely to TownyChat. Hoping this works...

    Works really well, changed the chat channels around a bit and got rid of Mod chat and changed Admin to Staff Chat so all Staff can chat in one Channel.
    I also changed a lot of other stuff, as seen in the following image:

    1 thing: Is there any way to remove The 'You feel so lonely'? If so, can anyone help me with this?
    I've also noticed that 'You feel so lonely' only appears when OPs speak when no-other people who are Opped are online.
    Also, my bPermissions is not properly set up so don't give me any permission nodes or any of that stuff to solve this.

    I have a suggestion, could you perhaps allow only some people to speak in certain channels, but they can see what is being written? This would reduce spam and still allow people to make general anouncements and would then make herochat not needed.

    Problem: Only admins are allowed to create towns.

    town_creation_admin_only: 'false'
    nation_creation_admin_only: 'false'
    + all the right permissions whats wrong?

    Please for the love of god fix the "You feel so lonely" thing :( I gave my group of permissions the towny.chat.general node but its still happening X_X. Im really confused, Please help this is starting to become REALLY annoying
  21. Thats a Lockette message. You need to grant the correct Lockette permissions to place signs in the wilderness.

    Im being trolled massively

    Since you've made such an epic plugin and everything why cant you fix "you feel alone" thing in the entire plugin... Its REALLY annoying if everyone has to add the permission thing, + it didnt work for me :(

    How do I make it that towny blocks Creeper explosions and Enderman/Dragon grief, but let TNT explosions past. I set it so it wouldn't count TNT explosions for a regen but it still does nothing. Creepers don't explosde which is good but TNT doesn't explode either. I changed the world config as well. Any help?

    Okay will do but I think I have an idea (When the servers empty.. hopefully soon) instead of having explosions to false. But enable world regen because it has the options their. I'll report back if it doesn't work. But is their anyway of getting world regen to instantly regenerate? Because when I used to use it and a creeper blew up signs it sometimes rolls that back first so you can obviously guess the sign then brakes. Also users that got killed lost their stuff when it was regenerating because it regend over it.

    Okay the server was finally empty so I tried the world regen setting and it regenerates far to slow and if a sign/torch was their and it rolled that back first it breaks off again. Is their anyway of having the instant rollback on explosions but able to let tnt explode? Here's my world config;
