    Hello,

Running my quad core server PC 24/7 is becoming a drag. It heats up my office, its kinda loud and since it has 6 hard drives it probably drains a lot of electricity.

I have an old Dell Optiplex GX280 with a 3ghz (or 2.8ghz, don't remember now) P4 and 1GB of ram. I might be able to scrounge up another gig to go to 2GB ram. Its a very quiet system; small power supply. Will that be enough if I run a Linux distro for bukkit on it?

I have a P4 3GHz HT. Used to have 1G, was too little, upgraded to 3G RAM and it's ok.
