    I don't know if this has been mentioned, but targets killed through bleeding or unarmed extra damage (and axes and bows, I imagine) do not seem to die in the normal fashion: they just disappear and don't drop items.

    Alright guys, heres version 0.8.13, TWO super awesome fixes are in this update!

    • Enemies no longer 'freeze' in place when they die
    • McMMO no longer drops items from combat interactions
    • Loot duping on death fixed
    Before I had to use entity.setHealth() function to interact with weapon skills and combat, this is what was causing the duping more or less (because if I modified hp to 0 I would have to make mcMMO drop the 'proper' loot). Now there is a new function for events involving damage called event.setDamage(), this makes enemies look like they have died naturally!

    Natural looking deaths! Finally!
    @Myrrdin you can change the command names yourself in the configuration file.

    @MommaCow perhaps you changed what command /stats is? You can look in the configuration file and see if /stats= is set to something other than 'stats'.

    mcMMO is not creating the default mcmmo.properties file - has never done this, it appears.

    graveltoclay=false, gravel still turns to clay.

    Geoff, have you tried chmod'ing your server folder and subdirectories to 777?
    When its created it should go into a subdirectory in your main server folder called "mcMMO"

    the directory tree is entirely owned by the use running the server

    Moving the mcMMO.properties file to the proper location resolved the graveloclay issue. I'm surprised you aren't storing it in plugins/mcMMO

    Yeah the trend of putting stuff in the plugins folder.. I must've missed that. I could change it in a future update.

    I can't get mcMMO to recognize iron blocks as anvils in my castle. I used world edit there a lot, but other then that I can't think if why it wouldn't work. (it works right outside my castle and anywhere else)

    Also, what level do you need to repair diamond tools?

    @bigougit Right now its 50+, and I'm not sure why bukkit has a hard time identifying blocks in certain areas. Resetting tends to fix it.

    @nossr50 thanks. I noticed the reset fixed it, but I went mining and when I came back it didn't work again x.x

    But, I doubt my users are really going to use the anvil if they have to level it that much lol they all seem to find way more diamond than me

    maybe add an option to adjust the requirement? If i were installing this on a new server the high level would be no issue, but since no one uses iron anymore it'd be nice if i could lower it

    Version 0.8.14
    • Mining, Woodcutting, Herbalism, and Acrobatics proc rates now are based on your skill level directly rather than tiers you unlock via skill levels
    • Archery's ability to retrieve arrows from corpses now is based on your skill level directly rather than tiers you unlock via skill levels
    • Mining, Woodcutting, Herbalism, Archery, and Acrobatics now show their proc % relative to your skill if you type /<skillname>
    • You can now adjust what level is required to repair diamond in the configuration file
    • Changed mining XP rates to be a tad higher for some things
    • You can now get XP from sandstone
    • XP rates increased for gathering glowstone with excavation
    • XP rates increased a bit for excavation
    • Skill info is now a bit more detailed for certain skills
    • Added info about arrow retrieval to /archery
    • Acrobatics is now much easier to level than before
    Balanced some skill xp rates with this update, changed how proc rates work in mcMMO and made /<skillname> info more detailed for certain skills. Will probably continue this trend and make it show even more info in the future. Acrobatics is no longer impossible to level. Most skills now directly effect proc chances, meaning that gaining 1 point in mining now effects the proc rate for mining point for point, whereas before you had to raise it in 100 skill point intervals to see a change

  14. I sign that suggestion and would love to be able to adjust droplists and dropchances manually.

    Maybe it would also be possible to add an option to buy access to skills via iConomy? It would be so cool to have a skill trainer that sells skills for money!

    Oh, can you plz, plz, plz make graveltoclay=false a default? It messed up a few worlds for me already. (First run I tought it was a bug and tried to sort out where it came from...)

    I think I found a minor bug, Mining proc % seems to be 100% regardless of Mining skill level. Not sure if it affects Woodcutting and Herbalism, but it probably does.
  16. Serious problem with CB493 and v0.8.14: Even with mining lv0 I get double drops all the time! Tested Woodcutting and excavation and they seem to be ok.

    Love it so far!
    A few ideas...
    • Sleeping in a bed gets you a "well rested status" for a little while. Giving a xp bonus!
    • Sleeping in a bed heals you (depending on how long you have slept for?)
    • A high level herbalist has an increased chance of growing a large tree.
    • Althletics skill - walk faster - swiw faster (hold breath for longer?)
    • Barter skill (with iconomy support) allowing you to get better buy sell rates

    As a suggestion; it'd be nice if Repair also let you fix Leather armor like it allows you to fix iron/diamond armor. I understand not being able to fix stone tools, but surely you could sew on leather patches or something.

    Edit: Also, I can confirm that mining is always a 2x drop. Woodcutting, Herbalism and Excavation seem to be working properly.

    First of all, this is the best plugin EVER. I'm serious. It's totally breathed new life into my family's MC server. Thanks.

    Second, I can confirm the 100% double drops with mining in 0.8.14. Just letting you know.

    Running on 522 newest recommended, and all seem to work except that mining skill, give double drops on every block.

    no idea if this was already mentioned, but: will it be possible to activate/deactivate HP regeneration in the future?
    or maybe you can mix it with the herbalism skill instead of always-regenerating: eating bread will give you HP over time and the higher your herbalism skill, the faster you get those HP back (plus more of them after leveling).

    just wanted to say that since the beginning of this plugin I have been apart of it, and now as of my cb 493 I still have yet to have no problems unless there were something wrong in the code which was fixed asap, just wanted to say thanks and I wish that you could make something like tombstone that actually worked instead of duping everything lol.

    I just thought of something,
    If I got to level 50 in swords (I assume thats when all random proc's start happening)
    but was wielding and axe, would I still have a chance to parry?

    isn't the proc of the axe it's criticals? so the sword is for more defensive players, and the axe for offensive. would be too uber if the axe also parries.

    nossr, you are kicking butt this past week!

    I think with all the changes now going into effect and being requested, I'd like to beg you: please add more configuration options. Let ops really fine tune how easy or hard each skill is, and how often each skill's special ability will proc.

    Perhaps also make options for the damage multipliers for unarmed, archery and axes. I can see myself wanting to limit axe crits someday.

    Also (and I'd suggest this also be an option) perhaps more variation on extra damage for those skills. Sometimes you do normal damage, sometimes you rip the target's throat open.

    I like love mcMMO as it is, but being able to tweak all those variables means being able to tweak challenge levels. Do want!
