    Does blocking with the swords do more than stop arrows? Thats all I could get it to block in the pre release.

    Note: I'm putting this out early, a lot of the changes are to reflect changes in MC 1.8​
    • [1.8] Removed the Archery fire rate limiter as its no longer necesarry due to changes in game mechanics
    • [1.8] Removed the bonus damage from Archery (I'll rework this skill soon)
    • [1.8] Removed the food bonuses to healing Herbalism provided due to the change of eating in game mechanics
    • [1.8] Swords no longer parry, no need to compete with in game mechanics
    • [1.8] mcMMO no longer has an HP Regen system, no need to compete with in game mechanics
    • [SPOUT] mcMMO now transfers files between [MC Server] -> [Client] rather than [Webserver] -> [Client]
    • [SPOUT] Temporarily disabled the PartyHUD due to some performance issues
    • [SPOUT/CONFIG] mcMMO now allows for disabling of the party HUD with the node Spout.Party.HUD.Enabled
    • [BUG] Fixed a few problems with readying abilities for Woodcutting/Axes
    • [MYSQL] Improvements have been made to the performance of MySQL thanks to krinsdeath
    • [CONFIG] Spout.Party.HP tree removed, replaced with Spout.Party.HUD
    • [CONFIG] Added an option for Excavation to require use of a shovel, on by default
    • [COMPATIBILITY] Changed the listener priority for OnEntityDamage from High to Monitor (Should make mcMMO compatible with Worldguards pvp regions among other things)
    • [COMPATIBILITY] Made party/admin chat modes more compatible with chat plugins (vChat)
    • [API] Added addXpOverride for modders, this will ignore skill modifiers
    • [SPOUT] The option to change the weburl of mcMMO Images/Sounds has been removed, if you want to customize mcMMO images/sounds you can open mcMMO.jar and replace them there
    • [LOCALE] Portuguese Brazil locale added (Code: pt_br)
    • [MISC] Added some experimental usage tracking, you can opt out of this in /plugins/stats/config.yml (Once its generated, may require 2 restarts)
    Coming Soon: Another content update for mcMMO will be coming in the following weeks, and I'll be making more changes to balance mcMMO around 1.8 as I see fit. And of course any bugs reported I'll fix ASAP.

    If I can use it, I may throw that in as an option. In 1.9 however, I really need to see what the skills system turns into.

    Currently, with mcMMO on the server (newest bukkit, mcMMO, etc), it's taking us 5 charged-shots with arrows to kill things, much like it would be previously in 1.7. Basically, mcMMO is over-writing it seems the default damage charged-shots now do.

    Is there any way to remove this?

    It's doing this whether or not we have permissions for the archery skill.

    I think this is a CB bug, mcMMO doesn't touch the DMG for Archery stuff anymore.

    Remember CB isn't 100% working yet, wait for a RB and if the Archery bug still persists I'll look into it

    you've got a typo somewhere in your config. anything to do with "org.yaml.snakeyaml" means the config isn't 100% right. post it here and we can take a look at it.

    So what happened to the /mcgod command.... am an op on the server (the server is at home) and i see all pluggins loading correctly...is it a feature you took out or what???

    Sword repairs not holding. Need Herbalism tweaks for Pumpkin and melon seeds and harvesting melon please.

    I would check out "http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/mech-bigcatch-v0-7-making-fishing-more-interesting-818.5180/" for fishing ideas. The plugin is no longer being worked on but seems like its the one and only one so far.

    Great plugin, just a suggestion: you can add a "mcmmo.ability." node also for those skills that do not have a real ability, but instead you can benefit from theyr passive abilities without actually skilling that skill. As an example, we have a world where no skills are allowed but the use of ability is (swords, axes ecc), cause of an arena, where would be useful to have also Archery and Acrobatics.

    Nope works for me but right clicking a iron block with the material to repair your tool even if it's at full durability will still take resources from you.

    I can confirm that there is a bug concerning sword repair. I submitted a ticket for it but doesn't seem like anybody is checking them. Sword durability never reaches full, and if you repair another item following repairing the sword, or just use the sword, the durability bar instantly jumps down to red. It doesn't seem to actually be affecting the durability, but rather just the visual display.

    yep, repairing swords lowers the durability on them. cant complain as im running the non reccomended build of craftbukkit for mcmmo :)
  26. with this plugin the CPU usage goes to 100% and then everyone gets "Time out".
    Then I have to kill the process of java in order to restart the server!
    But why? Is there a known problem with mcmmo? or a konflict with an other plugin?

    I really love this RPG plugin.
    But because of this problem I am not able to use it on the server :(

    does someone have an idea to solve the problem?

    This is my thoughts right now, I take every bug report atm with a grain of salt because CB isn't RB for 1.8 yet.
  29. So mcmmo has problems with multiworld?
    We are using this plugin an it is very important!

    Is there a possibility to prevent that problem?
    Maybe something to fix it?

    By my own stupidity I wiped out the file that stores players skills and XP. Now when I try and set them by hand I get "I'm sorry Dave, I can't let you do that". I am not using any Permission plugin though, and am an amin/op. Any ideas? I am using...


    And the latest, non RB, of Bukkit. Everything is is nice and stable.
