    Bukkit Contrib is pretty damn nice, but it has it's fair share of issues.

    If you have client mods, there is a good chance that it will break them. Better Grass is broken, GLSL shaders, and a great deal of other awesome ones. If I had to give a verdict on it, I'd say to wait for some better support for it before installing it.

    However, if you never mod your client, go ahead. It won't change anything for you, except for some added features.

    Sadly, I cannot use it. I enjoy Optimine for it's performance and render capabilities, as well as some extra features that it has. I also use Improved Chat, which has a crapton of features that BC breaks. I'll definitely keep my eye on it, but for now, I can't use it clientside.

    It's understandable, BukkitContrib is still very early in development.

    explaining the "Alpha" part of it, i do hope it drag onto beta soon though. It;s a shame i won't be able to use this plugin... Looks really great for medieval roll playing.

    Thats true but I like to read the first post for updates. So once I get done reading it I could scroll down and read the replies. Just a suggestion that would make the first post look better.

    Ah, then I advise you report the bug you are experiencing. Tell afforess the pop-up notifications are giving you a black screen.

    I searched this thread and didn't get any results soooo....

    Would the ability to add locksmithing and picking be hard? locksmith skill would be simply clicking or whatever to lock a chest and would increase every time a player does so. Lockpicking would be clicking a locked chest by another player and based on your skill yields a chance to unlock it.

    The idea is it'd incorporate chest protection and realism at the same time. I hate going into a pvp server that has lwc or lockette... why raid when you can't open the enemies chest XD

    And if server admin chooses, they could disable or not give permissions to the lockpicking skill, players could protect chests while not allowing people to steal.

    I am new to running a server and i have hit a wall with mcmmo. It was working just fine and everyone on my server loved it, but one time i started up the server and it wasn't working. When i use commands it says internal error and when i looked at the cmd page it says SEVERE could not pass event BLOCK_BREAK to mcmmo and then some stuff about nosuchmethoderror. If you could help me itd be cool.

    Hey Noss, Great plugin i was wondering how to go about changing the drop rate for gunpowder / bones / diamonds from excavation. is there a simple way to do that i couldnt find in the regular config files

    This has been asked a few times in this thread but ignored. Please, I need to know, will there ever be an option to give /ptp a delay? My players are abusing it in PVP and it's becoming very very annoying. Please tell me there's a way to give it a delay. That bCoolDown plugin doesn't work with /ptp for some reason.

    Ok one day i typed /stats and they were all reset i think after i updated mcmmo... everyones is reset but in all the skills files it shows the right stats hmmmmmm im not using flatfile or mysql just normal old bukkit mcmmo any solutions?

    What happens if I use this with Permissions 3.1.6? How do I use this if I can't run it with that version of permissions?

    Edit: I've been using the previous version of mcMMO, the one for CB953 without any problems.

    Thanks for checking for me. I did a clean install of both mcmmo and bukkitcontrib and everything works now. Something got pooched somewhere. Love the mod!

    Oh oops, now that the first problem is solved I forgot to mention the other. On the previous MCMMO, I didn't read the instructions very closely and, in attempting to drop the exp needed a bit, I accidentally raised it. I changed pvp and general to 1.5. It all worked correctly, and when I noticed my mistake, I changed it to 0.5 instead and reset the server. Upon doing so, when one of the players went to punch some sand, the server instantly hung.

    Reset, and tried again, same thing. Now I'm confused, but seeing as it's the only thing I changed, I set both to 1 instead of 0.5, and things started working again. But that player that punched the sand, ended up with something like over 15K exp in his Excavation. Crazy bug, I ended up just deleting the stats and restarting. But I must ask, should it have worked at 0.5 multiplier? Or is 1 the minimum.

    Hello. Help with mcMMO. The server is running half an hour and falls with the error:

    Make sure you are running CB 1000 and the latest mcMMO

    Are they OPs? Did you setup permissions?


    Sure, I'll put a small delay in.

    It's because you need to use whole integers, there's no decimal support atm. I could change that if you want.

    Go into plugins/mcMMO/ and move mcmmo.users into plugins/mcMMO/FlatFileStuff/

    I think this would cause a lot of grief for people using things like LWC to protect their chests

    I'm getting a lot of "Your home bed was missing or obstructed" messages. Not sure why. It happens when someone dies. (I've got a private server that me and some friends are playing Super Hostile maps on)

    How many blocks need to be empty above the bed for the spawn to stay set?
    Does this even possibly have anything to do with your plugin?

    Semi-related: can I remove the cooldown on /myspawn?

    what about a world table in a future release so that you can have 2 different worlds with seperate skills?

    i run a non-grief survival, and a anything goes survival. People just farm and increase skills on the easy map and then go over to the harder map to use thier skills.

    The idea of it was to replace lwc. What is the point of going into a pvp war server when you can't raid other factions chests due to lwc? Ok I killed their defenders... now what? I can't steal anything lmao.

    This adds another facet or skill to the game... realism... you can only protect your treasure as much as your skills allow... sounds real enough right? I admit it's not for everyone, maybe it's better left to another rpg like plugin.

    I localized mcMMO to my language, changed skill names, so i want for example:
    I want command /dolovani instead of /mining.
    How can i do it?

    I have a similar setup. I have a creative world, and a survival world. I use permissions to disable the MCMMO skills/abilities on the creative world, and enable them on the survival world. Any permissions plugin with multi-world support should allow you to do that.

    Oh yeah, exp bar for the win! Regarding Super Breaker, it does not work on sandstone, neither on terrain-created nor on player-placed.
