  2. Not related to quote, but I just wanted to say.

Mad props to nossr50 for mcMMO 1.0.33 rewrite. I don't know what you changed, but the memory usage of mcMMO has plummeted, really a massive improvement over earlier releases, thanks!

can you send me a copy of mcMMO 1.0.33,, the 1.0.34 has a memory leak issue..

  4. You sure, and you did not have this issue in 1.0.33?

    http://www.buxville.net/files/mcMMO.jar <- 1.0.33

I will hold upgrading myself in that case...

yeah.. I can guarantee that.. cause when I use mcMMO 1.0.34.. and idle my server.. it will went up after the server said "can't keep up blah3".. but if i disable and wait till the server said can't keep up.. it won't have a memory leak..

I'm pretty sure I didn't touch anything that could cause a memory leak, but if others besides yourself report the same issue I'll look into my changes.

I'd say make a backup of 1.0.33 if you're worried and try out 1.0.34

Certain commands like /mmoedit actually require permissions to be enabled so OPs don't abuse them

this was one of the most important plugins of my server until the time outs started! cant wait to have it back error free.

  9. One bug, not sure it's been reported, quite old already:

If you place sand, and let it drop by gravity, you can mine it again for xp+drop chance.

Are you using Permissions 3.1.6? Also, what version of mcMMO?

  11. When did this start? As 1.0.33 runs super smooth here.

I thought I corrected this ages ago...

  13. I just got it reported again recently, don't think it was ever gone, I guess I thought you knew :p

newest version of mcmmo, and on 3.1.6 permissions. i was reading further into the thread and people have said 3.1.5 can solve the problem, i might try that also.

also one more thing, are there any plans on doing some sort of damage resistance/thick skin/ armor skill in the future? id like to see my veteran players take more hits during events

  15. First line of OP actually tells you to avoid PR 3.1.6...
PEX 1.12 works perfectly as always.

another bug .. and this is 100% sure again.. wolf are easily tame(1 bone or 2 bone), regardless they have a permission on taming or not..

and still using 1.0.33 because of memory leak in 1.0.34 when idling..

Isn't that the way its supposed to be? The skill taming doesn't affect actual taming to my knowledge. In vanilla MC, wolves are tamed in about 1-3 bones too.

You're right in thinking that Taming doesn't effect how many bones to Tame a wolf.

    morizuki

no it's not.. taming a wolves is about 6-9 bones.. i just remove the mcMMO and it back to normal..

Minecraft wiki suggests the number of bones required is 1 - ... (unlimited). I have always managed with 1-3 bones. You have just been unlucky.

    morizuki

oh.. but with mcMMO.. it's always 1-3 bones..

  24. I tamed 3 wolves in a row with 1 bone when I was testing without any plugins =)

Still, does this mod actually hook taming sequence ? or is it even possible to change number of bones required for taming ?

yeah that's the bug i found.. i tried 6 dog in a row with 1 or 2 bones..

  26. Go to Singleplayer and try it there. You will see that it is not unusual before claiming it to be a bug.

I don't know how easy or difficult it would be but what about a reward for killing hard monsters as an exp reward that could be spread out among skills as you wished? Something to help people boost skills they want or keep skills balanced as a reward for hard game play. If in a party they could be split up among the group while if you kill them solo you get them all giving players a reason to attempt to kill the hard monsters solo even if it was difficult to do so.
