I was looking for a chunkloader plugin for my server but I was not able to find a chunkloader plugin without dependencies on worldedit or chunkloaders using a block to keep the chunk loaded.
That is why I am asking you for help. We would like to ask you to write a plugin (or if one already exists give me the name plz.) that keeps the chunk you place a sponge or any defineable block in loaded.
This plugin should not depend on any other plugin (if possible) and have just
    one command:
/list - Lists how many chunks are loaded by the plugin and gives their coordinates.

I hope you could help me.
    Thank you for your time,

I think you can do this with precious stones, but it might take a bit of setup to do.

Would you want the sponge to disappear after you place it or just have it stay there?

I would like the sponge to stay there. It should be used like the "Anchor" in the Railcraft mod.
    My idea:
Place a sponge you get from the /give command (so only ops/admins can use it). When it is placed, it keeps the chunk it is in loaded automatically (= no further commands needed).
The cunkloader should keep mobs spawning, redstone activated, minecarts moving, ...
When the sponge is placed, only ops (or players with the right permission) can destroy it.
After the sponge is destroyed, the chunks will not stay loaded. The sponge itself should be dropped (if possible).
