  1. I just wanted to make a quick post about these questions.

Are bukkit plugins still being used?
Is there even a demand for new plugins?
Is the number of minecraft servers reducing?

    1. Yes, they are.
    2. Plugin requests are made every day, so probably.
    3. No idea on that one

I think that minecraft is dying simply since its base is mostly kids under the age of 14, and Minecraft original base has "grown out of it" and the new generation isn't in it as much. Larger servers are getting less popular, and the minecraft experience is too modern, and lost its feel a bit. Just wanted to give my opinion.

I also believe that new plugins are being demanded in large scales because of the competitions of large servers and custom features. The minecraft multiplayer gameplay is evolving at a quick pace with new custom features on different servers. That isn't even mentioning the new gamemodes thought of each month.
