Hey everyone. Before I start, here is my server info if it helps: Code: 24/7 VPS Craft Bukkit: CB 1060 Minecraft version: 1.7.3 RAM: 1GB OS: Ubuntu 10.10 x64 Maverick Java: java version "1.6.0_25" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_25-b06) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.0-b11, mixed mode) Apparently, this problem happens to many servers. I've seen other forum threads about this problem but none of them seemed to be helpful. The problem is, my server randomly crashes at random times. For me, this usually happens when there is 1-4 people online at one time. I don't think the server has ever crashed with no one online. There's no warning and it lags out everybody but a little while after the crash, it says this about every 5 minutes on the console: Code: 18:21:36 [INFO] Read timed out Players that get lagged out receive an error message saying this: Code: Connection Lost Internal exception: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out OR Code: Connection Lost End of stream Sometimes it could be every other hour, or sometimes just once a day. It's very frustrating because the only way to get the server back online is for me to manually kill it and start it up again. Some people say that this is because of Permissions 3.X but others say that that isn't the case. I'm not exactly sure what the problem is so that is why I have come here to post this. Here is a complete list of my plugins: Code: Administrate Anti-Creeper/TNT AutoAnnouncer BigBrother ChestShop ClearInv dynmap Essentials EssentialsChat EssentialsSpawn FalseBookBlock FalseBookCart FalseBookChat FalseBookCore FalseBookExtra FalseBookIC FullChest godPowers HeroicDeath iChat iConomy Jail Jobs Lottery LWC mcMMO Minequery ModTRS MultipleHomes NoCheat Permissions 3.X PreKick SimpleModerator Stargate Towny VanishNoPickup Vault WarpAllHere WorldEdit WorldGuard Bump Can someone please help me with this? I don't get how the RAM could be full when the server host suggests 30 slots for that 1GB of RAM but this crash usually happens with 2-4 people online at one time.
30 slots with 1 GB? never. I got 1.5 and I can handle something like 8 without this happening. (upgrading soon btw)
i get this error aswell + @lowmewn it has nothing to do with amount of ram i host on a alienware m11x i3 processor 8gb ram and also have this problem
