port forwarding

Hi

When i try to conect to my mc server whit my Ip i youst got the error failed to connect to the server.
And my port in the router is setted to




Service Name: Mc server
Start Port: 25565
End Port: 25565
Server IP Address: 10.0.0.38

10.0.0.38 is the ip on my computer in my nettwork.

But when i try to connect to my server whit this ip: 10.0.0.38:25565 i can loggin.
But not whit my public ip. What I understand so far is that something is blokking mc or the port to my public ip.

My router: ZyXEL P-660HW-T3 v2

Can someone help a noob?

 

Don't use Hamachi.

Always connect to "localhost" yourself, give your external IP to your friends after portforwarding it right.

 

I have used http://portforward.com/ but i still cant connect to my server.
Im not useing Hamachi.​

 

Oops, my bad about the Hamachi.

It doesn't matter if you portforward or not, you can still "connect to your own computer/server".
