Plugin questions

Is there a plugin to keep non-ops from doing anything in your server (mining, building, igniting)? Also is there a plugin to keep mobs from spawning in a certain place without having to put lights up?

try worldguard, it has global and regional permissions that can be configured

 

if you dont want non-ops to do anything just get permissions

 

Yes there is a plugin to prevent mobs from spawning in certain area... WorldGuard - make a certain region and write /region flag [name of the region] mob-spawning deny And for the non-OPS, just install permissions...
