    My maven plugin I have spent almost two hours programming is building in eclipse alright, but when I put it into my plugins folder, the plugin returns this error:
    http://pastebin.com/C0WjRjxL

    My main java file is:
    Code:java
    1. package com.aidancraft.crabdance.com;
    2.
    3.
    4. import org.bukkit.event.Listener;
    5. import org.bukkit.plugin.java.JavaPlugin;
    6.
    7.
    8.
    9. public class DowlingsMod extends JavaPlugin implements Listener{
    10.
    11. public void onEnable()
    12. {
    13. getLogger().info("It worked!");
    14. }
    15. public void onDisable()
    16. {
    17. getLogger().info("Bye!");
    18. }
    19. }

    EDIT

    Not sure where my error is, but it is resolved....

    Maybe DowlingsMod's package is not DowlingsMod?

    Show your plugin.yml?

    Try replacing com.aidancraft.crabdance.com.DowlingsMod to com.aidancraft.crabdance.com in plugin.yml.

    No.

    You can clearly see in his package that that path is correct (if unconventional).

    Then it wouldn't be able to find the main class.

    aidan959 Your classes can be named anything you like. It's best to name it something appropriate to what it can do.
    Your main: in your plugin.yml has to be the fully qualified name of your JavaPlugin extended class and it is case sensitive.

    Next time you make a class, Main or not, You should start the name with a capital letter.
    This isn't required, but it makes it look a lot better.

    Sorry my plugin .yml looks like:
    Code:
    name: DowlingsMod
    main: com.aidancraft.crabdance
    version: 0.0.1
    BTW I changed my package name to com.aidacraft.crabdance BTW

    The past error said you had no plugin.yml in your plugin. Where are you placing your plugin.yml? aidan959
