Ive given up on Groupmanager, its failed.
Please can someone teach me how to use permissionsEx ?

i did, you can only have 1 default group for the WHOLE server
I need a permission plugin that allows different defaults for different worlds, etc
groupmanager wont work cuz of this error :

remove spaces from group names
remove dots from group names
change inheritance: - [] and inheritance - ' ' to inheritance: [] (no new line here)

 

Okay I can remove spaces and '' , but what do you mean by spaces

I Removed all the '' in inheritances and all the spaces!!?

Its automatically changing it, And its not the host! The host has even restarted the node and checked everything and done it plugin by plugin its not the host!

Necro i fixed the file, no perm errors, now its just the plugin pooping itself

Well its not working due to a plugin error in the actual GM error.log

 

You'll probably want to post that log then. I looked above in the thread and couldn't find it there.

 

Okay, Necro, After I used all help Ive had, previous assistance from a Dev and owner of stickypiston and exile servers, Ive finally done it! I remove the inheritance part and it works like bill clinton at a strip club!

 

thats outdated logs. see the date.

sounds like your "error" is not an error, but permissions that you think that are wrong.

instead of saying "error", describe it next time.

learn how to use the inheritance section properly.

 

atleast now i Know how to make it work and AC can carry on
