I forgive you for fixing the bug with never ending fires.
For some reason setRespawnLocation() isn't working across worlds. I'm trying to make it so I get teleported back to my spawn point on my main world when I die in another world. If I setRespawnLocation to a point on the world I'm in, it works fine, but if I set it to another world, it's like in the few seconds it takes to load, the player falls 5-6 blocks, and stays there. So every player is being spawned underground beneath the spawn point.
I have a question to getting dinnerbone's plugin working I went to the wiki to download the new version of craftbukkit and that when I ran the the server with the plugin it gave me an error telling me it could not find the world command, so I went to the git thing to download the latest source and I compiled it and I still get the same error, and when I run the server /goto nether dosent work, so could someone please lead me to the newsest version of craftbukkit so I can get it working?
What do you mean with:
Why will it get silly? I exactly wanted that to load costum maps
This is phenomenal! I've set up each of our 2 previous maps as "read-only" worlds that you can visit via portal from our current map! Thank you, Dinnerbone and the rest of the Bukkit team!
Mind sharing how you managed that? We just reset after being griefed, and it would be great to be able to go back while rebuilding. /goto OldWorld doesn't work real well.
I'm just using onPlayerMove to trigger when a player moves into the specific block that the portal is in, and teleporting them to a location in the new world.
As for making the world read-only, I already have a custom protection system in place, and I just entered the whole world as a "lot" owned by me.
/me is server admin, not plugin developer I'm sure there will be a plugin pretty quick.
thanks bukkit team! time to develop some plugin's!
Is there compression similar to single player ie 1 block in nether is 10 blocks in real? Or does it just translate your current point between worlds
Been using the nether for hours now, with Stargate X-Treme as the portal in... absolutely amazing stuff! Thank you so much for all your hard work!
Is there a way to change the settings from the netherworld?
Because i set spawn-monster on false but there are monsters in the nether...
Hello is there a way to disable the multi worlds as I don't really want both nether and normal world I mean It could be fun but atm I'd rather have just one set world. Is that possible.
Er, yeah. Don't download the plugin.
Bukkit just has multiworld support, it doesn't force features onto you that you don't want. Until you install a plugin which makes you have more than one world, you'll only have the one
One thing that happens to me, that my skin is set to the default one using /goto nether or using a wormhole to the nether...
Client bug I'm afraid
I've noticed that - if you disconnect in one of the sub-worlds - you cannot edit blocks after you re-connect. You have to port to the main world and back to the sub-world before you can destroy/place blocks again.
On my server running b271 and using Essentials' /world nether command, no players (not even OPs) could break any blocks in the Nether, however using the super pickaxe from WorldEdit or any plug-in that effectively removes or breaks blocks worked fine.
Thx for this!
All people on my server are like lol wut?
Thats exactly what I was thinking. Give everybody a private copy of a creates world, that is removed once they are done with its quest/etc. Or force people to spend some time in a "instance jail" to prove themselves beofre they are let back into the server main "real world".
How about fixing multiple world teleportation so plugin authors can actually use the other worlds for useful things?
Is there anyway to disable the Nether completely? It's causing bugs with my spawn point and the command /spawn now sends me back to the Nether one and not the normal one.
Um, find out which plugin is giving you the nether, see if you can disable it and then yell at the author if you can't.
I'm using the latest version of craftbukkit now, and firstly I found a bug with the itemdrop (i think). When I die I drop my items, but I can't see them when I'm at the location of my death. I have to relog into the game to see them.
I encountered this bug on a hmod-server before, but I never had it on my homeserver with an older version of craftbukkit.
Is it possible to fix this?
there is a similar problem when you try to go to the real world when its hellworld=true
The real world has nether sky
Yeah, client bug, we can't fix that ;(
This is by far, very amazing. Notch should really look into what you guys are doing.
Also, I'm not sure if these two issues have been reported or not but; logging out in a world other than the default and then logging in does allow you to come back to the sub world you were currently in, however you're unable to remove or place blocks until you move back to the default world and then back. Is this by fault of bukkit or the plugin itself?
The second issue is mob server setting not transferring over to new worlds. (ie. Setting flags to spawn no monsters, then going to the second nether world and there are monsters there)
Thanks for all your hard work!
Wouldn't it save memory as well to be able to unload idle words? Or is the difference really negligible unless chunks are active?

He has Let's hope they get on about the licensing and give Bukkit a blessing sooner rather than later!
That is needed too.
