    Suggested name: MobArea

What I want: A plugin, that allows to mark a zone (by its edges) and set the difficulty in that specific area. And when entering/leaving this zone a notification should appear. Also mobs shouldn't be able to leave the zone.

Example: On a peaceful survival world, where no monsters spawn, should be possible to make a easy/normal/hard area for a monster trap or else.
Or on an easy/normal/hard survival world where is a building part, where no monsters should appear.

    Ideas for commands: /pos1, /pos2, /set 0/1/2/3/peaceful/easy/normal/hard

Ideas for permissions: mobarea.admin <-- can set and remove MobAreas

Additional: Sorry, if something like this already exists, i couldn't find a plugin like this.
    Should work with Minecraft 1.5.1/1.5.2

  2. I just lol'd. Mob Arena is already a popular plugin. I recommend you search before you post a plugin request.

Oh look it's dumb & dumber.
His plugin request is MobArea not MobArena.
He wanted an area-based mob difficulty plugin.

If you two would read "What I want" you'll know that's not similar to MobArena, read the whole post before complaining...
    That's it :)

    Bump.

Key words: If he's running a towny server. Why install towny when you're after one small feature.

addons would work the same. towny u mark an area /claim and then /toggle mobs in that zone- then change settings. same thing you would have to do with any addon no matter the size of the plugin. if anything now he can set different areas with diffent lvls of hardness and more settings

Towny does it, but has a lot of unwanted functions and I'm just looking for this one small feature
