[MISC] iWolvesAdoption v0.5- {SUPPORT ICONOMY} Adopt your Wolf with Sign [953]

    Other plugins for iWolvesAdoption:
    - Permissions (required);
    - iConomy (not required);
    iWolvesAdoption is a simple plugin which allows a player to adopt a Wolf by using Signs.
    Using an Adoption Signs consumes a tot of Gold Ingot or Money from iConomy (price is customizable) and it spaws an already Tamed Wolf (you don't need to use Bones!).
    This is my first plugin, I hope you like it!
    To know how to use this plugin, just go see the Wiki!:

    - Wolves spawn when right-click on a "Adoption Sign".
    - Wolves are already tamed (you don't need to use Bones after they are spawned).
    - Right-clicking on a Wolf tells you that Wolf Owner.
    - Custom messages and cost!
    - Item for adoption customizable.
    - Wolves tamed are invincible by setting it with command!
    - Wolves now spawn with 10 health.
    - Support iConomy!

    Does this spawns a already tamed wolf? Or a normal wolf?

    can you do iConomy support? That'd be brilliant. Check out WolfPound, they have a similar plugin you could help out/shamelessly steal code from.

    iConomy Support and respawn wolves to players after a set time when they die... then you're golden great A plugin

    final two things you'd need. re-vamp wolf teleport because if a player teleports with a plugin the wolf is gone and id add a feature to deny the purchase of wolves if you have a X amount of wolves already... for example.. if you bought one wolf then it sets a variable and that variable is reset when a player types a command that kill the wolf without respawning.... and the sign always checks to see if the variable is above or below the allowed amount before taking your money and giving you a wolf...

    other than that all you need is other plugin support like mcMMO and someone might enjoy setting the wolfs respawn point and having them sit there until the player comes gets them instead of respawning next to player after X seconds

    and there you are thats as far as i can foresee the plugin growing and it would be insanely popular.

    EDIT: and when i mean teleporting i mean teleporting when you die to your location and if you use a command like /home

    im just gonna go all the way home lol... the other thing you could add is when a wolf dies it sends you a message like "Your wolf has lost consciousness." and when it respawns it says "Your wolf regained consciousness!" of course configurable

    but there you go.. all the features i can foresee you would add to improve this plugin to its peak

    haha just let me know if you want me to fully expand possible features for you on another plugin :p i got great insight

    Well, you gave me a lot of ideas! I'll try to modify my plugin!
    I'll post the source code soon so if you want to create another plugin to improve mine, you're welcome ^_^!

    i actually know nothing about java i just got good insight on the value and outcome of a idea and btw someone will request a permissions that allows the purchase of wolves and not just creating signs. just for future reference :p so ya the source code is pointless for me i dont know what to do with it :) but ya if you want my insight on anything else just ask me ill give you my opinion and features i can foresee for it

    I can't wait for the icon support, and the wolf spawns with you cuz with wolf pound the wolves get glitched.

    Does the plugin works?
    When you right click on your wolf you should receive a message with "this wolf's owner is" ecc.
    If not I think you need to update your craftbukkit to version 750.

    You need to get a newer version of craftbukkit. That hook was only added in a more recent version, maybe you should update the post to reflect that.

    Now iWolvesAdoption supports iConomy and you can change the item for your adoption!

    Hi, thank you for this plugin but i have a little problem..
    I use iconomy so it's not the problem, i create the sign with the good command but when i right click, i see that in the console, what is the problem ? i use the last craftbukkit so i don't know why.

    No wolves aren't invincible. Try to hit him more times, he should die.
    When I use a diamond sword I kill him with one hit.

    Gidday all I love the Idea of the Plugin I have updated to latest Bukkit to use this it is Hooking in np Says enabled Linked to Iconomy,Ingame Says I Have created an Adoption sign at 1st when I right clicked on sign I got message about essential protect so I have disabled that no Prob there now My Major problem is that Whatever I do I cannot get a wolf out.I have tried setting to Dirt even sign still says made but nothing.I have made both Money and item signs no prob but no matter what no wolves spawn any Idea whats goin on here.
