That would be a good idea, although it wont be moved as noone uses bukkit.org for plugins anymore - its just discussion. They moved to dev.bukkit about a month ago now, if you submit it there it should be let through within about 24 hours.

Also note, they don't give out the purple "plugin developer" tags anymore (A great idea IMO)

At the moment, the restrictions put in place can be bypassed by switching to an empty slot ( unarmed ) and then dragging a restricted item into the slot you have selected/equipped. This will then let you use the restricted item.

Is there any possibility of fixing this?

hahah yeah i was told by someone yesterday on my server and i looked into it and couldnt work it out :S will be working on the next version in the next couple of days as iam busy with my server

Any chance of adding support for the placement of blocks? Or do you want to keep this strictly items-only?

 

I am unsure yet i may add support for blocks but for now i just want to stick to items as there is other plugins out there that restrict block placement

Ah, could you link me to one of those plugins then? I've only found one, and it does not support SuperPerms.

Latest recommended build is 1337, build 1317 is outdated.

 

Just check and there isnt one that can control block place ment with superperms so i will work on it

Exactly what I was looking for. Great job!

 

I've set simpleitem.pick.stone to false and I can't equip it, which is cool, but if I throw the pick on the ground and then pick it up while having selected first empty slot on action bar it will jump into this slot and I can start using it without any problems.

I'm using CB 1337, Spout 510 and SimpleItemPermissions 1.2.

 

are you using super perms ? if so i beleive i need to fix the plugin.yml for super perms it was working tho :S and as for the dropping the item i am working on a fix for 1.3 but i am also working on block placement and breakage

This does not work for me, i am using 1.2 and 1337 CB. I have done all the permissions right and stuff, but ingame. Nothing. Still just says 'you can not weild this tool' or whatever for every listed item. I am also using permissions 1.3.6.

this wont work with 1.3.6 as no plugins support it as its dead use superperms or permssionspex or Bpermissions

Works wonders with PEX.. 1 problem is that if I have only 1 slot on my toolbar. I can pick a weapon im not allowed to use and swing it. This works until I change my selected item or open my inv. Then the plugin does its check and cancels the item usage.

With out the source code I couldn't look and see how to fix it.. So sorry for not being much help in that dept.

 

sorry i havent got an update out but been busy and this is under heavy development with adding crafting and block permissions in one plugin rather than multi ones
