    ItemCraft is a Bukkit mod that allows adding new item and block types, crafting and furnace recipes, and custom tree generators and more. Using a Modloader and SettingsGUI interface it allows subplugins known as ICPlugins to be loaded to support client mods. ICPlugins can be created by translating a client mod using the ICTranslator ICplugin. Using a ModloaderMP interface (ported by krnlyng/liar) it allows porting multiplayer mods to bukkit.

    Installation & Usage:
    • Back up your world(s). Just in case.
    • ItemCraft.jar goes in same folder as craftbukkit
    • IC plugins go into ItemCraft/ICPlugins folder under craftbukkit. (folder is autocreated the first time)
    • uncomment (remove #) in front of all plugins you want to use in plugins.ics (autocreated in ItemCraft/ICScript)
    • Make sure you have the recommended version of craftbukkit in the title - since this is a mod of that version in particular.
    • Delete/rename the META-INF folder inside craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar (Use some decent zip program (e.g. 7zip) that can do it.)
    • All players on the server needs to have the client mods installed
    • If you use the 16 bit entity id packet mod (in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it)), All players need (flan's unofficial) ModLoaderMP client mod
    • All players also need the 16 bit entity id packet mod (overwrites a ModLoaderMP's class so make sure ModLoaderMP is installed first) in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it) If decide not to use the packet mod, you can turn it off putting this in your startup file: false setEntityIDPacketMod
    • Sometimes you get block/item ID conflicts, between plugins. You then need to set the conflicting ids in the startup script using setID command: example. They have to be set before the plugin that uses them is loaded. Note also that there is typically a props file on the clientside you have to edit the ids on to be the same as well.

      Suggestions of mods to port
      Vote here not in this thread anymore (it gets lost in all the other stuff)

      Reporting errors:
      • Read known issues - don't report those.
      • State the version of CB, ItemCraft and ICPlugin(s) you have problems with
      • If your client crashes, start the client from command line so that you get the error report.
      • Make sure the mod(s) works in SSP First before you report any errors here.
      • You are more likely to get a response if you describe the problem in more detail and do some testing yourself first of under what circumstances it occurs
      • Do not ask for uploads of minecraft.jar.
      • Do not pm me.
      • If you have problems installing, you are likely doing something wrong. Make sure you've followed the instructions exactly, read the FAQ and Wiki. If that doesn't work you can always ask in the thread, while I will likely not reply, there are others who can help you with your problem. But at least try to get it working yourself first.

  5. With the test server, Itemcraft and bukkit are merged, so you only have to load 1 file - which MCMyadmin can cope with no problem - just ask it to start the bukkit860.jar file and it'll work !

    Planes already works on bukkit using the ModloaderMP - I've done a small amount of experimenting, and so far, I've managed to get a working server with Planes, Vehicles and Industrialcraft to work together on modloaderMP. The issue is that by the time you load all this lot, you're out of ID's, so anyone hoping to play loads of SSP mods at once might be dissappointed - without someone figuring out how to add more ID's (unless someone knows of a mod that can do that ?)
    Fingers crossed that Itemcraft & ModloaderMP combine soon ! :)

    Hello people!

    Got a small, all though annoying, problem to deal with! For some reason I can't use mod commands from outside Itemcraft, meaing that I can't use:

    *Superpowers- Unable to use any commands.
    *WarpWiz- Unable to use any commands.

    The reason for them not working is that they don't acctually load when I use the "Run.bat" file. I've got Mo's creatures to work with ItemCraft, so this is the last piece of the puzzle ;)

    So this is what my CMD looks like after starting the server:

    You're probably not using the RB stated in the OP of the thread, which is what the (860) means. You're most likely using something above 910, 935 I bet. So to fix your problem, roll back to 860. This should soo be in huge red caps in between every post in this thread, as people don't seem to actually read any of the other posts (including the OP).

    Oh, right! Apperently I'm using #935! All though I can't see where is says what the recommended build is for Itemcraft- Current Version.
    So, is there going to be any other consequenses beside not being able to use other mods? And how do I "roll back" to 860? Do I have to do the installing all over again?

    It is stated in the title of this topic.
    And you can just download 860 at the frontpage of Bukkit, replace 935 and remove the META-INF.
    Then everything is happy^^

    i open notepad , copying this "java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -cp ItemCraft.jar;craftbukkit.jar org.bukkit.craftbukkit.Main" , then name it start.bat , and i had removed the META-INF folder from craftbukkit860.jar , and when ever i run it , it qucikly closed (cmd window ofc) what the HELL i must do then , and i didnt under stand what to do with the "SuperSlopes" i just moved all the files in Minecraft.jar like the entity id pack
    so it WONT OPEN , my mind blew up and i cant think so much there is alot of things to do , please tell me exacle what the hell i must do then?

    What number is between two bracket in the post title ? 860 ! It means that you need CraftBukkit 860 (So it's for Minecraft 1.6_6) to run ItemCraft. You will have to wait a litte to see it in 1.7_1. ;)

    Go and open the previous file again in notepad, and on a new line put "PAUSE" with out the "". Are you using a jar filed called craftbukkit860.jar? If so just rename it to craftbukkit.jar and try that.

    Anyone know anything about a bunny glitch I'm getting? Using Itemcraft Creatures and I get a shitload of bunnys after a while, which eventually crashes the server! :O
    Can't see a way to kill them, and the whip solution (where you use a whip on a signpost to kill em all) doesn't work since the item was removed!

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Found a temp. fix for the problem. Just go into ItemCraft\ICScript and then put the # back infront of the IC Creatures, start the server, shutdown the server, and then remove the # to make it start again.

    Anyone know a perm fix?

  22. Download this file from HERE. It contains 3 files. Stop your server, put the plugins.ic and oldscript.ic into your Itemcraft/ICScript folder on your server, overwriting whats there, put the Moretrees.props file into your .minecraft folder on your local machine. Reatart your server. The settings for Mo' Creatures are in the oldscript.ic file - bunnies are set to 0 - leave it that way. If you leave all settings as they are, you should see some other creatures you may not have seen before !.
    by the way, the plugins.ic file is set to only load the Mo' Creatures plugin. Edit it if you have other plugins running.

    Since pistons are a much anticipated updated, and since 1.8 wont be for a long while, will at least ItemCraftCreatures be updated within the next few weeks for 1.7? I love most of these mods, but my server voted most save for that one down is all. No big deal anyway, just wondering!

    Offering my time and java experience to code this for 1.7.x, I love this mod and want it on 1.7! But I'm completely unfamiliar with the code on a whole or the process by which one would make the mod compatible with the newer versions of bukkit. If someone with the know-how wanted to give me a tutorial I'd be happy to put in the work, or if you need help asdaarg, let me know. Just hoping that instead of reading all of the mod classes and comparing mods that are compatible with different versions of bukkit I can get a quick lesson and pump it out.

    strange, i used the pre-built server version with all the mods already in on a vanilla 1.6.6, then intsalled the mods (no problem) from the same rar file, The server itself works fine and i can pretty much play fine, but if i try and craft anything with smelted iron, the client crashes immediately. anyone else encountered this or know how to fix it?

    the server works fine now on craftbukkit860.jar and i configured the plugins , but when ever i log in it says "Connecting to the server" , and take years and dont connect , can some body link me your client ".minecraft"
    Folder please, just to make sure i am 100% , i think the problem is from my client becouse all other servers dont work too , can some body send me mc folder with the audio and modloader and mo creature in it please?(with 1.6.6 of course):)
