    ItemCraft is a Bukkit mod that allows adding new item and block types, crafting and furnace recipes, and custom tree generators and more. Using a Modloader and SettingsGUI interface it allows subplugins known as ICPlugins to be loaded to support client mods. ICPlugins can be created by translating a client mod using the ICTranslator ICplugin. Using a ModloaderMP interface (ported by krnlyng/liar) it allows porting multiplayer mods to bukkit.

    Installation & Usage:
    • Back up your world(s). Just in case.
    • ItemCraft.jar goes in same folder as craftbukkit
    • IC plugins go into ItemCraft/ICPlugins folder under craftbukkit. (folder is autocreated the first time)
    • uncomment (remove #) in front of all plugins you want to use in plugins.ics (autocreated in ItemCraft/ICScript)
    • Make sure you have the recommended version of craftbukkit in the title - since this is a mod of that version in particular.
    • Delete/rename the META-INF folder inside craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar (Use some decent zip program (e.g. 7zip) that can do it.)
    • All players on the server needs to have the client mods installed
    • If you use the 16 bit entity id packet mod (in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it)), All players need (flan's unofficial) ModLoaderMP client mod
    • All players also need the 16 bit entity id packet mod (overwrites a ModLoaderMP's class so make sure ModLoaderMP is installed first) in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it) If decide not to use the packet mod, you can turn it off putting this in your startup file: false setEntityIDPacketMod
    • Sometimes you get block/item ID conflicts, between plugins. You then need to set the conflicting ids in the startup script using setID command: example. They have to be set before the plugin that uses them is loaded. Note also that there is typically a props file on the clientside you have to edit the ids on to be the same as well.

        java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -cp ItemCraft.jar;craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar org.bukkit.craftbukkit.Main
      • Others:

      Suggestions of mods to port
      Vote here not in this thread anymore (it gets lost in all the other stuff)

      Reporting errors:
      • Read known issues - don't report those.
      • State the version of CB, ItemCraft and ICPlugin(s) you have problems with
      • If your client crashes, start the client from command line so that you get the error report.
      • Make sure the mod(s) works in SSP First before you report any errors here.
      • You are more likely to get a response if you describe the problem in more detail and do some testing yourself first of under what circumstances it occurs
      • Do not ask for uploads of minecraft.jar.
      • Do not pm me.
      • If you have problems installing, you are likely doing something wrong. Make sure you've followed the instructions exactly, read the FAQ and Wiki. If that doesn't work you can always ask in the thread, while I will likely not reply, there are others who can help you with your problem. But at least try to get it working yourself first.

    Because i'm tired of seeing the same post about planes i made something for everyone!

    I WILL NOT TEACH YOU HOW TO INSTALL PLANES CLIENT SIDE!!! There's plenty of tuts for that already

    Now i pre built a planes server for you with CB 1k its fresh with just planes installed on it so have fun:

    How do i install the Flans Plane Mod?
    I drag the files inside the planemod download.. place it inside snapshot.jar ..
    but whenever i start up the server, it doesnt say planes loaded or anything. and also when i joined the server,
    i get a end of stream disconnection.. can anyone help on this?

    EDIT2: Um...I downloaded the preinstalled planes mod from labelbuddy but whenever i try and log in..i get a blackscreen and a end of stream error...i have the plane mod installed on my client as well..whats happening?

  8. OK, sorry for not being able to reply earlier - I see @labelbuddy has assisted you - hopefully you are up and running now !

    Advertised HERE is Mo' Creatures serverdside mod which is compatable with the client ver. 2.11.1 - please don't try & go for the newest version. This combination works on MC 1.7.3.

    thank you i have it and it works but some of the item's say cant find and mo'Creatures dont work and other mods but plugins that are bukkit 1000 work idk ill upload my . mine-craft and server and you tell me what's wrong or ant one else can help me thank you
  10. The server-side Mo' Creatures mod is only compatable with client version 2.11.1 - please don't try and use the latest version.

  12. There are test servers available HERE. However, Airships, Beekeeping and Wallclock have not been ported to work on the current Itemcraft setup. A list of all currently available mods can be found HERE.

    I have seen the issue posted before and have been unable to assist - perhaps @asdaarg can assist ?

  15. There is no tool I'm aware of for getting all the block IDs in use, however these are the settings you need to put into your plugins.ic file for Fancypack. I've set one up as an example, the others are all commented out, but you can change them to whatever you wish.

    i can start the server fine but after about 1 in game day it gives this error. restarts of the server produce the same error, i have to delete the map for the server to work again. using mo creatures, slops, baby animals, and industrial craft.
  17. That mod took over 3 months to get working SSP - if someone is willing to take it on, I think it might take some time - however, so far, I've not seen any of the programmers willing to try it.

    Try without Baby Animals and see if the problem persists please ?

    without deleting my maps, ill try with a new map set.

    EDIT: crashed same error. i suspect it is whenever a horse is spawned, it happened quicker when i went on a killing rampage.

  22. I am not sure how you've got all this working together ? I managed to get Industrialcraft working with Kslopes, but I've not been able to get it working with Mo' Creatures, so I'd be interested in your config files both server & client to see the changes you've made please ? I'd also be interested in which bukkit and IC version you are using.

  25. Thankyou - I shall try setting that up & see how I get on - however, my problem was with Mo' Creatures - Industrialcraft & Kslopes I managed to do the necessary changes, but Mo' Creatures would not start on my client with these installed, so I'll see how I get on with your settings.

    He probably means "Clamoring" for it. People posting for the Aether mod to get ported over aren't aware of the amount of work involved in porting even the simple things, let alone something so comprehensive as Aether. Do y'all even realize that if by some miracle someone attempts and succeeds in bringing the Aether over, you won't be able to use hardly ANY OTHER MODS with this that eat up BlockIDs? That it's going to be rife with as many bugs as all of the bugs for the CURRENT ICPlugins combined? That it'd take weeks of work to make it function properly, as it's more comprehensive than just new blocks and enemies?

    Probably not. But, that's ignorance for ya.

    I believe I'm getting an error with Mo' Creatures. I downloaded the test server, uncommented FancyPack, Glass, and Mo'Creatures. Slopes was already uncommented.

    After getting in server everything works except Mo'Creatures. I checked the ICPlugins folder and it didn't have ICMCreatures in it. I downloaded the latest version and put it in there. This is my server log on start.
