    ItemCraft is a Bukkit mod that allows adding new item and block types, crafting and furnace recipes, and custom tree generators and more. Using a Modloader and SettingsGUI interface it allows subplugins known as ICPlugins to be loaded to support client mods. ICPlugins can be created by translating a client mod using the ICTranslator ICplugin. Using a ModloaderMP interface (ported by krnlyng/liar) it allows porting multiplayer mods to bukkit.

    Installation & Usage:
    • Back up your world(s). Just in case.
    • ItemCraft.jar goes in same folder as craftbukkit
    • IC plugins go into ItemCraft/ICPlugins folder under craftbukkit. (folder is autocreated the first time)
    • uncomment (remove #) in front of all plugins you want to use in plugins.ics (autocreated in ItemCraft/ICScript)
    • Make sure you have the recommended version of craftbukkit in the title - since this is a mod of that version in particular.
    • Delete/rename the META-INF folder inside craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar (Use some decent zip program (e.g. 7zip) that can do it.)
    • All players on the server needs to have the client mods installed
    • If you use the 16 bit entity id packet mod (in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it)), All players need (flan's unofficial) ModLoaderMP client mod
    • All players also need the 16 bit entity id packet mod (overwrites a ModLoaderMP's class so make sure ModLoaderMP is installed first) in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it) If decide not to use the packet mod, you can turn it off putting this in your startup file: false setEntityIDPacketMod
    • Sometimes you get block/item ID conflicts, between plugins. You then need to set the conflicting ids in the startup script using setID command: example. They have to be set before the plugin that uses them is loaded. Note also that there is typically a props file on the clientside you have to edit the ids on to be the same as well.

        java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -cp ItemCraft.jar;craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar org.bukkit.craftbukkit.Main
      • Others:

      Suggestions of mods to port
      Vote here not in this thread anymore (it gets lost in all the other stuff)

      Reporting errors:
      • Read known issues - don't report those.
      • State the version of CB, ItemCraft and ICPlugin(s) you have problems with
      • If your client crashes, start the client from command line so that you get the error report.
      • Make sure the mod(s) works in SSP First before you report any errors here.
      • You are more likely to get a response if you describe the problem in more detail and do some testing yourself first of under what circumstances it occurs
      • Do not ask for uploads of minecraft.jar.
      • Do not pm me.
      • If you have problems installing, you are likely doing something wrong. Make sure you've followed the instructions exactly, read the FAQ and Wiki. If that doesn't work you can always ask in the thread, while I will likely not reply, there are others who can help you with your problem. But at least try to get it working yourself first.

    Hey i am trying to istal this for 48h now and didnt get it work becaus i can't change my startup file on my server (Myriapulse)
    I have seen some posts on the internet about people who modified their craftbukkit fils in a way and got it working with itemcraft. But these worked only for the older versions .
    is there a way to get it work on minecraft 1.7.3 and with a server wich doesn't alow to change the startup line?

    I tried to make new blocks for my server, but I think i failed.
    Can you make a complete tutorial about Creating new blocks with Itemcraft, plz ? It will be so nice. :)
    I also tried to see the plugin's source, but i didn't find how to set a texture for a block, and function's name doesn't help. :X

    Any news on Flans planes and WWII gun conflict with Mocreatures?

    I would be happy with any weapons mod that is compatible with Mocreatures... Plans are not really needed but just fun.

    I had troubles finding that as well, but I thought, why not try and change the address from one of the other versions on the download page, and voila, I found it ;)

    I added Plans to the client and the server. When I put in the gameworkbench I can not enable / start. Nothing shows.

    I have a Question:
    When i start a server only with IndustrialCraft 8.10 with ItemCraft 1.6.4 and craftbukkit1000
    then i have a bug.
    When i craft something from IndustrialCraft i see it for a milisecond in the CraftingTable then its gone.

    How can i fix this?

    In the mod "translate a mod" when you say script you mean the script that in the ItemCraft Folder???
    and i didn't understand the section of:
    4.Now you can translate as follows (either using GUI or putting this after the plugin has been loaded in the script. In the latter case you need to do it in a separate include, since the commands cannot be used until the file has been parsed and executed):

    i tried ICTranslator out, but i don’t understand in the part “Doing the translation (per mod)” of the “How to use”:
    - point 1 and 3: because in Mo’s Creatures the Mod isn’t in the minecraft.jar and uses ModLoader
    - point 4: which GUI or where do i have to put/type in the code?

    How do I even install this? It says "Put this and that." It doesn't even say where!

    Read further down, to the "to start" section. You need to make a .cmd file containing those parameters, then use that to launch Bukkit. Forewarning: If you're using a Windows version later than XP, you might need to specify a path to javaw.exe instead of just putting "java". Ex: "c:/program files/java/bin/javaw.exe" (this is just an example; I don't know if that'll be right on your system or indeed on anyone's system). You can make the .cmd file by just opening Notepad or a similar text editor, putting that text in (with the aforementioned edit if needed), and saving it as "run.cmd", "itemcraftstart.cmd", or pretty much whatever.

    At least, I THINK the extension is .cmd? I know I mixed up something similar and that recently.

    Yeah, .cmd is right. But Bukkit doesn't start when I input that. It gives a ton of class errors. So I put "pause" at the end of the script, and now it reads this:

    sealing violation: can't seal package Already loaded!

    ok all what you need is:
    (PUT ALL THIS FILES TO THE minecraft.jar in the minecraft Bit)
    ModLoader Client
    ModLoaderMP Client
    16 bit entity id packet mod
    and Client mod that you want to use
    (all this you can found here)
    ItemCraft.jar put in same folder as the Recommended Build
    CraftBukkit Recommended Build (the same version as ItemCraft)
    remove META-INF folder in Recommended Build
    start the server
    stop server
    put ICMOD to ICPlugin folder in ItemCraft folder that was created
    Go to ICScript open the plugin.ic delete the # near the mod that you want to use
    (example:#"ICKSlopes.jar" plugin="ICKSlopes.jar" plugin :p)
    start server and play but...
    ...if you get to the server with your client and its kicks you out with the error ID 230 go to ItemCraft folder and open init.ic and remove # near the false setPacket230OnLogin (example: #false setPacket230OnLogin=false setPacket230OnLogin :p).
    i think this is all -_- it was so HARD to write it like this ???

    Hey guys, I'm having a problem with block IDs. I'm using betterGlass, FancyPack, and slopes, and my fancypack serverside seems to be conflicting with my client side. For example, three vertical cobblestone in the crafting table changes from a cobblestone wall to an iron lantern, but when I place it it becomes an iron chain that can't be deleted. Any guides on managing block IDs or a tool that lets me see all of my block IDs and manage them?
