    Created by request, AcidRain allows you to set a chance that normal rain could become acid rain. Watch players flee as it burns skin and withers plants!

    • Adds a chance that rain will become acid rain
    • Damages players when exposed
    • Armor slows the damage based on its strength
    • Multiworld enabled
    • Superperms support
    • Pail support for settings
    • Affects blocks exposed to the rain
      • Grass, Farmland -> Dirt
      • Crops, Tall grass, Flowers -> Dead shrubs
      • Leaves -> Air

    • /acidrain (world) (duration)
    Default world is the same as the command sender with a duration of 12000 ticks.

    • acidrain.immune - Player is immune from acid rain damage (Default = false)

    Chance to dissolve block (0-100): 5         # Percent chance for a particular block to be dissolved
    Acid rain chance (0-100): 25      # Percent chance rain will become acid rain
    Broadcast message text: Acid rain has begun in <world>    #Message broadcast when acid rain starts (<world> will be replaced with the world name; to change color add the code to the end)
    Broadcast message: false         # Broadcasts a message to the world when acid rain begins
    Rain dissolves blocks: true       # True if acid rain will affect exposed blocks
    Acid rain damage: 1       # Damage exposure causes to players
    Damage interval: 1        # The interval (in seconds) between player damage
    Worlds enabled (separate with comma): world   # Worlds in which acid rain is enabled

    I like this idea of acid rain in specified areas. We could create "danger" areas that provide better loot but are more dangerous to access due to acid rain and mob spawners.

    Thanks for this plugin who is exactly what a researching for my post apocalyptic server :).
    But i have this error who flood my gameserver consol:

    any chance of making which blocks are damaged configurable I really dont want all my trees stripped but want to annoy my players by having their crops damaged and skin burnt :p

    Try reloading, it's a rare bug I'm working on that happens when starting the server.

    This plugin is awesome.

    IMO, you should integrate this with spout, and turn the sky a green shade when acid rain begins >:)

    Good Plugin, Adds A Doomsday Feel To Minecraft :D And It's Cool How It Dissolves Random Blocks [Though I Had That Disabled].

    @escape were you planning on creating an updated version for the most recent Build, and with the customizable blocks that are damaged? I want to use this, but last time I did, it had too many bugs that I couldn't solve.

    If SeeD419 doesn't want to maintain it, I could, as I'm creating a plugin called Storm, and this would go well in it. That way, if you dislike the other features of Storm and wish to use only the acid rain, you could disable everything else in the config.

    I'm already working on making the user be able to define what transformations occur during acid rain.

    EDIT: I'm rewriting it due to newer versions of Bukkit allowing a much more efficient method of doing this.

    Hi there I downloaded your mod as it's EXACTLY what I'm looking for. I"m using craftbukkit version 1.2.5 r5. I put the jar in my /plugins folder but upon restarting mys erver it failed to make a settings folder. When I type /aciderain I get "an internal error occurred..."

    I would LOVE to get this mod working! Did I install it wrong, is it not compatible?
