JavaPlugin cannot be resolved to a type

    i am trying to make a mod im watching videos on youtube on how to code minecraft mods and i haven't even gone through the setup process of the video due to this error. when it shows the red line at JavaPlugin im supposed to hover over it and its supposed to show import 'JavaPlugin' (org.bukkit.plugin.java) but in my case it only shows Create Class and Fix Project Setup. i have craftbukit downloaded and imported into my java project so as spigot yet im still facing problems. the minecraft version im using to code is 1.18.2 i dont know if it has anything to do with it but i hope someone can help me resolve this problem.

    @mo123 If you are watching a mod tutorial then you are gonna have a bad time as we make plugins here.
