IP / Server????

hey guys, ive never used bukkit before, and ive got a couple of questions to ask. Firstly, how do i enter my own server?? And secondly, what ip should my friends put in to go into my server???

Connect via localhost instead of ip and let friends connect via external ip (port 25565 needs to be forwarded on TCP and UDP in your router options, check portforward.com for further information).

No problem but remember that external ip is changing sometimes so you have to give them other ips each time. You can setup an account at dyndns.com at make your external ip static, for example: myserver.dyndns.org they can connect with that everytime if its set up.
