    This just happens right after a few people login, I doubt anyone is even actively using a trapdoor.

    Okay I just uploaded 1.3!
    The new FloodGates version was such a major change from 1.2 that I had to call it 1.3 even though it does not have any new features. See the mainpost for changelog!

    Also support for doors is postponed for now. I don't know when or if I'll resume work on doors.

    Okay guys both of you had the error in the same method. My solution? I removed that method and rewrote the complete plugin so that it won't need that part that caused you errors anymore.
    For me it's working great and I hope it'll be the same for you now.

    No, in fact I even had it removed as it was added without my consent.
    Great =) I knew that it has to be fixed now as I removed all (in my eyes) unnecessary code and rewrote the whole damn thing.

    Is Lava going to be re added in the future? Would be handy for lighting systems until pistons are implemented.

    Uh perhaps. I removed it as I didnt had the time to test everything for lava and water. Now that water is working (in my eyes) perfect adding lava would be no biggie - Im just lacking any reason/motivation to do so ;)
    What I would also need to do then is block any trys to capture the lavablock under the trapdoor as that could lead to an endless lava spring otherwise ^^ Right now you can do this with water already but thats not that bad as water isnt really rare or anything. If I add lava I would address this issue as well though.

    good use for lava trapdoor: entrance trap, having a 5 by 1 hallway with like second to sixth floor having a pressure plate and then above the first and seventh a trapdoor with lava above it ( ofcourse hallway is made of obsidian :p)

    Lava adds the elements that "Evil Supervillians" like to have. Every villian wants to have the wall of lava hiding a secret enterance to thier secret base....

    Well sounds nice but .. I don't know. I haven't received any donations for FloodGates yet anyway so right now I'm really not in the mood to develop it any further at all. If I find any motivation to do something new for this plugin I'll add lava but that could take a while .. if ever.

    What would I gain? No I dont need lava at all and with pistons around the corner this plugin became obsolete anyway.

    Sorry dude but I know very well that pistons could take quite a while until they are released but it doesnt change the fact that I really dont need lava for floodgates. In fact I feel like I would waste my time if I develop this any further as nobody donated for this plugin yet and pistons are eventually gonna replace this. Developing a plugin that is gonna be useless sooner or later with no support from anybody is kinda demotivating so unless you want to be the first donator I wont add anything more to this plugin.

    No I don't. I develop them for myself and I'm so kind as to share them with people like you. Now if you have any features you want to see in MY WORK then it is my decision whether to add them or not. I do develop plugins for money though - why not? But I also appreciate donations from users enjoying my plugin and I just wanted to tell you that unlike my other plugins FloodGates didn't receive any donations yet and thus I conclude that it's not really that great and stuff and with pistons around the corner (like sooner or later) I don't really give a crap whether or not you want to have lava and now please stop hijacking my thread and either talk to me via PMs or leave it at this.
