How can i change the server from vanilla to spigot/bukkit without losing our data

    basically, I have a vanilla world with some friends, we're not that good but we put a lot of work into this world. I wanted to add some plugins so we can put keepinventory, not even disable phantoms or anything, we're just tired of losing our stuff to netherite mining. can you guys show me/explain how to add plugins, without losing data? (we do have backups in case anything goes wrong)

    @David22 Make a spigot/bukkit server in the same folder as the original folder (assuming it is a server)
    Then start the new jar instead of the vanilla one.
