    Hey everybody,

I've spent the last six hours trying to get this working properly and quite honestly I am very close to just giving up.

Chat coloration doesn't work properly, nicknames don't show, ranks/prefixes don't show.

Previously I was using EssentialsChat, Factions and PermissionsEx, I still am using PermissionsEx, I'd like to use something else as PermissionsEx seems to be about to become inactive according to the developer, if anybody has any recommendations on that front, feel free to let me know, I tried to get Group Manager and bPermissions working last night, same problems, so clearly I'm doing something wrong.

Right now I'm using HeroChat, Factions, PermissionsEx, nothing works how it should, I've deleted the configs more times than I can count. I've made sure that all of our plugins are up to date as the RSS feeds create tasks on our project management system, we're even using the latest build of CraftBukkit.

Can someone please just give me a copy and paste of the HeroChat (And Factions?) configs or whatever I need? There's nothing to copy and paste to you as it is all defaults once again.

If anybody figures this out then I'll personally publish them on a thanks page of our Enjin community.

    Thanks so much in advance.

youd need to more descriptive about your permission errors, such as giving your broken permissions file so we can see whats wrong.

also, since herochat overrides the regular chat, /nick cannot show normally on chat.

A lot has changed in the last few hours. We're back to using EssentialsChat, not a fan of the bugginess of HeroChat, the chat looks okay, we did have ranks in there using Group Manager, now they've disappeared again for some reason, my bets are on the permissions file.

Group Manager seems great, McMyAdmin Enterprise generated this file, the ranks aren't appearing in the chat and people can't seem to use commands, the log tells me that various groups can't be found including Builder.

    http://pastebin.com/DJWusE74

The order it generated this in makes no sense.

I noticed in https://forums.bukkit.org/threads/help-with-mcmyadmin-permissions.132590/ that you said to stop using McMyAdmin to generate permissions, but that's partially why people buy the Enterprise edition of the software; so you don't have to give out FTP access and so that less technically inclined members of staff can quickly add perms via the web interface. So in regards to the permissions exporting not working properly, should I go and pester the devs of McMyAdmin?

    Sorry to be a pain.
