Groupmanager problem

So, I am starting a new factions server with a few friends,
and I want to add permissions and stuff.
But groupmanager doesn't really like me and keep iritating me.
I want people to first read all the commands they can use and read the rules, before the become member and
can go to the "real" spawn.
I know the command is /manuadd <name> Member
But I can't put it in a command block or on a command sign, because it says:
you cannot change the group of an player with the same rank/permissions as you.
I have searched all over the internet but NOWHERE NO-WHERE I can find help about this....
Hopefully some of you bukkit guys can help me...

If you are lets say, Admin. You cannot promote another player to Admin without being OP.

 

Do /setspawn NEWBIES

bobin17231 I have done that, and i have set the "real" spawn for like member and up,
but i cant make people member without doing it manually...
And I have school so I can't do it all day myself :/

why lol, its not about essentials... I need some way to make someone member with like a sign, commandblock, or like a code word
