    This is the Runecraft mod ported to the CraftBukkit server.

    Runecraft adds magic spells to the game which are triggered by block patterns called runes.
    It let's you create teleporter and waypoint runes for instant travelling, build hidden doors into mountain walls or enchant your tools. And more.

    The config file is named "disabled-runes.txt" and lies in the root bukkit folder (alongside etc.).
    The file is generated if you load the plugin. Each line contains an option which is either the name of a blacklisted rune, the name of a player not allowed to use runes, or a specific command. Some commands are:
    • whitelist - turns the rune blacklist into a whitelist
    • enable multiworld travel - allows teleportation using runes between different worlds
    • initiation - players cannot use runes until they activate a special rune containing bedrock

    Bukkit's Permissions:
    Runecraft supports Bukkit's permission system since version 2.8.2. Use a permissions plugin such as PermissionsBukkit, bPermissions or PermissionsEx.
    Runecraft currently has the following permission nodes:
    runecraft.*                        - gives .teleport and .runes
    runecraft.teleport                 - must be true to allow any teleportation runes
    runecraft.runes                    - gives permission for all runes
    runecraft.runes.powerpick          - gives both .activate and .use
    runecraft.runes.powerpick.activate - gives permission to bind Power Pick rune
    runecraft.runes.powerpick.use      - gives permission to use a rune-enchanted tool
    (Replace 'powerpick' with the name of any other rune)
    'runecraft.teleport' must be given to allow any form of Runecraft teleportation (Teleporter, Personal Teleporter and Recall runes).

    All users have 'runecraft.*' by default. If your permissions plugin doesn't have negative permissions, you have to overwrite the default to disable all runes, and then enable the runes you want with your permissions plugin. To disable all Runecraft permissions by default, open the file plugins/Runecraft/config.yml and change permissions.teleport and permissions.runes to false:

    You can use AttributeProviders to connect the Permissions plugin with Runecraft. You can also connect any other Permissions-like plugin with Runecraft, if there is an AttributeProvider for it.
    Runecraft currently has the following permission nodes:
    • 'runecraft.teleport' - allows or blocks any teleportation (Teleporter, Personal Teleporter and Recall runes)
    • 'runecraft.rune.<name of rune>' - allows use of that rune. 'runecraft.rune.*' allows all runes.
      For example: 'runecraft.rune.phantomtorch', 'runecraft.rune.personalteleporter'.

    Is there an Weather controle rune ?
    The best idea i think is that the weather controle. Is an Addon for Chrono trigger :)

    One of the best plugins ever !

    if you have a rune teleporter installed on world "A" at 1 64 1
    and a waypoint on world B at 100 64 100

    the teleporter on world A sends you to 1 64 1 on world b
    it won't send you to the waypoint.

    If you use Bukkit for 1.6.x then it's Bukkit's fault.
    It works in Bukkit for Minecraft 1.5.

    Not rushing you or anything, just asking. Are you going to update for 818 as I had the same problem with the teleports on 1.6.6. If you're not, I'll use a different plugin to change worlds.

    Runecraft works with 818 except Multiworld teleports. I tried to teleport with MultiVerse, but the server kicks you ("You moved too fast!"),
    so I guess it's a problem with Bukkit.
    I already made an experimental patch that fixes both problems (Runecraft teleports and MultiVerse) and sent it to the Bukkit team. I guess they are testing it internally.

    Do you know any plugin where teleport works with 818?

    Haven't tried any others yet, I wanted to try and stay with runecraft if I can as I already run it instead of loading even more plugins in. But as you say it's probably gonna be a problem with all multiworld travel plugins, I'll hang on for your update.

    i can't get keys to work in my teleporters.

    imade my waypoint out of mossy and my teleporter out of cobble.
    but the teleporter doesn't ask for a mossy key.

    They don't work like this.
    If your Waypoint is of a tier bigger than the teleporter is made of, you have to insert a key block of that tier into the teleporter.
    The actual block types don't matter.

    I think that would break many teleporter settings if we would change that.

    so if i made the teleporter out of cobble
    and the waypoint out of mossy cobble i would have to insert a mossy cobble key into the teleporter?

    because my teleporter is made out of cobble, my waypoint is made out of mossy cobble and i do not have to insert anything into the teleporter for it to work.

    YES! I was not liking the idea that I might have to re-key all of my trans-world teleporters, as they were not sending me where they should... Just upgraded Bukkit to 819 and they all work!! Thanks! [cake]

    is the permission for Two-Way Teleporters runecraft.rune.twowayteleporters?

    and for Underwater Pick/Shovel would that be runecraft.rune.underwaterpick and runecraft.rune.underwatershovel?

    thank you for bringing this over to bukkit, people on my server have been clamoring for it.

    a list of permissions on your wiki would make setting this up a lot easier at 4 am, though, as on one hand i don't really want to give them the mountain moving thing, nor do i want to skip something basic that they will expect.

    There's no two way teleporters. That is only a way to build waypoint and teleporter together.

    Hmmm well then. I need to figure out the template for Fairy Boots and Stair Master. I'm surprised that this mod isn't more popular. I've been with it since the very beginning, but I've only given my opinion once on a tower crafter in the original forum. I love this mod so much. Is there any way to make your own runes for this? I know there is a similar mod that came out a while ago that comes with text files you can change to create the before and after of world runes. (I wish there was a 3D program to interpret the txt files to make it easier. (Transmute was the mod) Zeerix keep up the good work, and keep this mod alive! I don't see super lama kicking around as much.

    When i download it from the download page and then cluck on where it says bukkit download in order to get the jar file it gives me the other one. the zipped file. without the jar file. where do i get the jar file for bukkit??????

    Found a issue with Warp Point and CB build 860. It works but more times than not the user gets kicked for "moving too fast". I've not had that issue with the teleporters....

    Is the move different than with tele?

    Is there any possible way I could install Runecrafting without permissions, but Essentials and GroupManager? I've tried already (along with the AttributeProviders for Permissions), but I can't seem to get it to work. I see that Runecrafting initializes, but when I try to test runes like the compass rune, nothing happens.

    so i tried to make a wider hidden passage like in the offical tutorial video:

    but it wont't work, cause when i'm putting the ore block in the first passage, i get the message "passage destroyed"

    My permissions dont work at all with Runecraft. Every one can use every rune, I have no idea why.

    this is prolly gonna sound stupid, but why do some runes work and others dont? for example ive had chrono trigger work (once, apparently the aether no longer has time for me >.>) compass, fire sword, magic beacon, mine shaft and mouse trap all work, but i cant get Topsy turvy, phantom tortch or mound to work, mound says "accepted mound" but aside from the rune vanishing nothing happens, ive tryed different locations and such, any ideas?

    edit: cant get warp point to work either :/

    nvm now there working, guess they needed time to boot up lol, awesome plugin can finally let people on my server have magic without worrying its going to be overused :)
