    Have you ever wanted to have portal gun in minecraft? Have you ever wanted to make your own portal test chambers and make your friends solve it? Now you can do this!

    PortalStick is plugin that tries to emulate Portal Gun as close as possible in Minecraft without client mods.

    Yay you used my suggestion for the ariel faith plate (saw in github) :D and i see the gel's woohoo all my requests were put in. xD

    Note - i like the idea of using a second block to set the direction very nice out of the box thinking right there. Also the arielfaithplate wall is a fun idea as well. :3

    First-off. Great plugin! I love it and see great potential.

    I cannot get it to delete a region named TestChamber1 with "/portal deleteregion TestChamber1" it keeps coming back with Region TestChamber1 does not exist!

    What am I doing wrong?

    Using, CB: 766 & PortalStick: 2.1.0

    I'm also curious if there is any plan when setting up a region to have a base setup so if you use carts when the player completes the area and exits, the region will reset.... (i didn't look back on the forum on this.. sry).

    I have the portal plugin up-to-date and its running smoothly, however when i change the portal settings to react to wool instead of stone, the colour of the portals will still stay there but not with the stone.

    Is there some action to change this in the config files or is this trying to be fixed oe even cant be fixed. Thank you for reading.

    I re-uploaded the PortalStick.jar for people. See if that one works out better for people.

    just a suggestion,
    could the command for portalstick be changed so something like
    "/ps" or "/portalstick"
    because there are plugins with the same command "/portal" (TravelPortals) and they won't work now.

    ok the grills load now but i am having trouble with normal sized portals, once used as an exit portal it must be placed again before you can use it as an entry portal.

    I am also getting.

    In the next version i'll make it possible for people to change the plugin.yml file to a different command if they wish.

    Fantastic Mod you deserve much praise! Using it on our server however waiting for that 1 update that doesnt render emancipation grills useless after restarts.

    Interesting and well-done plugin, I love it. Although, quick question (no, I haven't read all 16 pages of comments to see if it's in there), If a portal is placed on a chest, furnace, etc. does it destroy the contents?

    you cant place a portal on chest furnace it is setup for Stone only. You can change it your self to more blocks so just dont include the chest or furnace

    Placing on ice doesn't seem to work properly. It just creates a weird water tower.

    Also, placing two portals on the ground doesn't seem to work properly - I can jump in one and come out the other, but jumping back in the other won't make me come out the first unless I manually move the second portal.

    Any chance we could get that quick update that allows two portals? Perhaps making the two respective portal colors configurable?
    config.yml contains;
    portal1-1: 35:11 // dark blue
    portal1-2: 35:3 // lightblue
    portal2-1: 35:14 // red
    portal2-2: 35:1 // orange

    and again, for extra credit, if this was done maybe have a "party" system or something that allows Player A to replace player B's portal. IF, again possible. (but may be impossible due ot the fact that the plugin would either have to replace the previous players portal PERFECTLY or look into it's little data file to make sure the material that had been portal'd on was a portal-allowed one)

    It isn't a 'quick update' it would require a large rewrite of loads of the code. It won't be in the next update sorry.

    I got a problem with Emancipation Grill if i create these and i look into the yml file i see them, and i come back later the grills dont work anymore. if i check the yml file the file is clean so no grills anymore

    How can I enable portals in a region while disabling portals in 'global'? It seems that if enable-portals is false in global, it applies for everywhere, including regions that have enable-portals true.

    Probably a noob question but,
    When i updated, done all that crap. I went in game and tried it out, but i can only place on stone..
    So i went into portalsticks .regions, and under 'global' i put;
    'all-blocks-allow-portals: true'

    But how come when reload the server i go into the .regions again and it's changed itself back to;
    'all-blocks-allow-portals: false'

    How do i fix this ? >.<
    P.s It does the same to all the other options;
    'delete-portals-on-exitentrance: true' etc

    Im not sure why it does this, but the eaisiest solution to to stop the server, edit your files, start the server.
    Im sure this will be fixed at some point.

    Make sure you are on v2.1.0 (check the message it says on startup). This works fine for me at the moment on my server, not sure why it won't work on yours.

    I do have a weird problem, portals only work in one direction.
    It's the direction I first use the portals with, if I want to go back I have to place the portal I want to go through again :S

    Anyone who downloaded updated jar yesterday, i recommend you redownloading. Jar was 2.2 prerelease. It contained faith plates, but had some bugs, for example portals were only one-way.

    If someone wants to test latest features, rather get source from github and compile it.

    When I try to create a portal through a door that is open, it only works if the block I target is "in reach" (with 4 blocks.. when it gets highlighted by the black border box). It would be nice to be able to place the portal for distant "portalable" blocks, so it would be possible to use a door that the user can't access but when he looks though it from a certain angle he can place a portal through it from far away.
