    Tribu - A zombie survival game !

    Currently looking for translators please contact me by PM if your language is not already translated or not fully translated.

    What is it ?
    Tribu is a zombie survival game in which you can set zombie spawns. Zombies will appear wave by wave once the game is started. You have to kill them! Each kill will get you money and points, and with the money you can buy items to kill more zombies. The game will stop when everyone is dead.

    I like the idea but its not working for me, it loads when the server starts but when i type in different commands, it wont respond to them and doesnt give me any messages. what am i doing wrong?

    Paste your log please, and tell me what are the commands you have tried, and in which order ?

    I started off at the first command in your list which was the /level command so i typed "/level new Zombie" and no message appeared when i pressed enter, so then i tried the /zspawn set command and nothing happened so im not sure how to set this up. If you could maybe make a youtube video or give directions on how to set it up correctly, please. oh and about the log, it seemed to start up as normal when the server starts up, it says:

    Be sure you're op.
    You're right, first of all you have to type
    • /level new LevelName
    • /zspawn set ZombieSpawnName for each spawn
    • /ispawn to set the initial player spawn (when the level start)
    • /dspawn to set the death spawn (when player die or when a player join the game when it is started)
    • /level save to save the level into a file
    • /level load LevelName to load a level
    • /zombiemode enable to start
    Then, kill that f*****g zombies !
    Each command send you a message

    Well for some reason it works now.
    Kind of strange.
    Thanks for this epic plugin!

    Hmm.. I doesn't seem to work again.

    I do /level save to save what i did
    Then /reload
    Then i do /load levelname
    Then i do /zombiemode enable
    Then it just says
    Zombiemode enabled.. But nothing happens? People doesn't get teleported to the point.

    The problem above:
    To fix this i need to restart server.
    Another question.. How can people buy stuff from the money they get?
    And when there is no more zombies what then? It just ends?

    With the current version, the server reload is buggy, you have to do /zombiemode disable after a reload, it's corrected in the future version.

    For buy stuff you have to place a sign with "buy" on the first line, then, if it's a 2 words item like "wood_sword" or "iron_helmet" put the first word on the second line and the second word on the third line. If it's just one word, put indifferently on the second or third line and let the other empty. The last line is the item price (without "$" just the amount).
    For example:
    1. buy
    2. iron
    3. helmet
    4. 25
    1. buy
    2. bow
    3. 85
    There is a least 12 waves, I haven't tested more

    In theory there should be an infinite amount of waves because their health, number of zombies, and the maximum that can spawn at a time are calculated from the wave number and number of participating players

    I know you are going to make this alo work on non-dedicated servers, but could you also make it work the way it is now with the dedicatedness (I know, that's not a word) optionally?

    2 glitches: Players can edit the map (This wasn't on the old version of the plugin) & Creepers spawn and destroy the map.
    EDIT: And I just read the changelog. I prefer the old system though where only OP could edit. Time to get another plugin for not editing...
    EDIT2: Love the buy system though. It's useful.

    There are also a ton of mobs that have nothing to do with this plugin spawning. Can't you turn off all mob spawns except the game mobs just like what the last version of this did?

    this will kick so much ass with multiworld support so you can have a zombie infested world but then go home and go about your regular mining/crafting/building in relative peace and quiet. cant wait to see how this develops =) thanks for working on this!

    @Wolf, okay I'll let the choice in a config file. I change the world editing to anybody except for the sign, this is why creeper can break the world. This change is in the perspective of a non server dedicated plugin. Concerning the mobs spawn, it's the same thing, before /zombiemode enable, all mobs can spawn, after that they cannot, but the ones which have already spawn are still here !

    @undeadmachine yes, I'm thinking on that :)

    Having an issue with this. It was working just fine, then I wanted to make a second level and it wouldn't make a new one. So I thought to delete the first one and make a new one, but now it isn't making a single level. I checked the levels folder and there isn't anything in it.

    I've tried re installing it to no avail.

    Thanks for the info! I'm glad someone decided to take up this project.
    EDIT: I found a bug: Sometimes if a player leaves mid-game and comes back, the server still thinks the player is playing even though they are in the grave yard.
    SUGGESTION: You should make it so that the points mean something. Maybe add a top-three High Score list? You should also make it so that when I am editing a map and I load the map, I can place a sign and put something like '@highscores' on the top row and the server will register that for that specific map and put 'Highscores:' on the top row and rank the top 3 on the rows below that. I would love to put a Highscores table in the death areas for each map.
    TEST: I currently have a test server running this plugin that anyone is welcome to come and test it over at 'wolf7115.no-ip.biz:25566'.

    I think this is great plugin i have a test server if you would like to test this plugin for your game servers , my server is up 24/7 so you can test this plugin hopefully myself or my op's are on, to start the game for you.
    i would also like to say that this shouuld have infinite waves of zombies as sometimes i only get like to the 2nd wave with 8 zombies... on that wave and i would need 10 of them and they just dont spawn after 8 or 9..
    my other level goes on to level 3 and some zombies but does not go more than that :(
    i would also like to suggest that there should be waves are optional.
    i mean you might just want loads of /zspawne set (name) , for your game but maybe because it hasnt got waves it has a 5 secound or 10 secound delay (or you could choose in the config) then they spawn there again for your level, this was actualy i was looking for instead of waves, if the waves did have infitnite waves that would be good but im just saying it would be good to have a optionly thing to stop waves and just have a zombie server automaticly.
    i also think it would be good that ops only can edit the map..
    but out of all this could you add a option to waves.. thanks
    p.s i love this plugin and you can still test at when my ops are on :D

    Theoretically, it have infinite waves, as samp20 said, I think that sometimes wave are buggy because the chunk is unloaded, so zombies are deleted but the plugin doesn't decrease the zombie-remaining counter... I work on this for the future release (which would add many update).
    About the highscore, I will think on it, first I will work on all that I've already said, after I will do that.
    For the donation button, it's nice to hear that somebody think my work should be rewarded :). I will add it.

    If some germans or whatever want to add their language to this plugin, wait the future update, I will make a kind of language file that you could fill, and I'll add the files you will give me to the next release.

    Okay, I'll try to release the 0.3 version tomorrow, but it's not a promise !
    It will add this at least :
    1. Try to debug waves
    2. Customizable wave : you could choose a polynomial function to describe the number of zombies by wave and their health
    3. All in one command /tribu
    4. "dedicated server" or not (choose in the config)

    Maybe :
    1. Highscore
    2. Redstone activated zombie spawn
    3. language files

    Excellent Plugin, but it seems to stop spawning zombies after a while, and the console shows:

    Config File tomorrow ?! That's Nice Say!

    Um .. i think This plugin has change Zombie spawn type (?)
    When game is start , Zombies spawn ! but the other mobs spawn too ! ( Like Spider,Skeleton...etc) so
    It's Very Annoy ! Please we can change passive!

    @NOTNOT, I've already talk about that, it's because mobs were already spawned before you start the game. The future version will remove all monsters (if the plugin is configured as dedicated server) before start the game.
