Did you "return to BananaTweet and enter this PIN to complete the authorization process" ?

BananaTweet.jar you should have run as as java -jar in order to open it in the command prompt.
If you did not do this, you will not have been able to use this plugin, as it require client-side authorization on two levels.
In twitter4j.properties there should be 4 lines when successfully completed.

Also you're not running the jar from the command line as instructed in the original post.

Can you make it configurable what command it posts from? For example, on our server we use /broadcast message because it makes the announcement look much better. Would it be possible to post to twitter from that command?

 

Configurable commands are a little difficult given how bukkit handles commands.

The source is there for you to play around with, feel free to edit it to your own needs.

Sure, you didn't follow step 1, you double clicked the jar rather than running it from the command line.
