    after every restarting the server my npc going down and down and down... WTF?!?!?! :confused:

    The new citizens works really well right now, as I can see the numbers in Citizens' names have been fixed. But I still see a problem when creating an NPC with a '_' as it just won't do it.

    Is this another bug with Citizens?

    I'm not sure if I am being dumb or I am not understanding something, but when you place a citizen below a certain limit, you are able to push them around? Thanks.

    @nimenombies We do want feedback on Evil NPCs, but make sure you are using the developmental builds and not the release build to base your feedback off of.

    @Glenn Burchett Yes, this is a known bug that I should probably put in the "Known Bugs" section of the main post.

    I'm gonna sound like a right fail here but where can I change the config so that non-admins can use the traders and stuff as well? I don't use permissions as I find it tends to ruin everything :/

    Is it possible for you to use a period as a separator? Or a hyphen? A lot of people use the underscore to create better name for their characters. My character name is General_Bear. My friend's name is Sergeant_Gump and I have a few other names I know with underscore. And I hate seeing a NPC named iplaymc234. >_> That's my only negative feedback. Everything else, awesome work.

    The only way to give normal users access, is to use Permissions. The default settings should be fine, just add citizens.use.* to the default group.

    this is wierd and VERY annoying

    we just tried to switch to citizens from npcx, upon loading i had an npc called fullwall runnig around, no mention of this in the wikki, looked in the citizen file couldnt see anything to do with them, forceing an npc into someones server with your name with out any warning or mention on the wikki is very bad form!

    tested creating an npc it told me i didnt have any yellow flowers!? we use icon and the currency is set to chickenlips. in citizens.econemy use-econplugin=true cant find anything on the wikki about economy setting

    this used to be a very good plugin its a shame to see it fall like this

    @mrgreaper I'm sorry that you think this plugin has "fallen", but if you would look a bit harder you would find that these NPCs randomly running around can be turned off in the mobs.yml file. Also, the economy bug you are experiencing is fixed in the developmental builds.

    Also, "forceing an npc into someones server with your name with out any warning or mention on the wikki is very bad form" ....? How so? You mean since this is our NPC plugin, we aren't allowed to have NPCs with our names running around?

    You know of any way to keep the NPCs from showing up on the /who list?

    Some plugins show NPC's names on the playerlist, others don't. You would have to talk to the developer of your /who plugin to get them to change their code around, or switch to a plugin that doesn't show the NPC on the player list, like CommandBook.

    looked through the mob file and disabled it, however the plugin is disabled at mo due to the economy bug (i will keep my eye on the version number and try it again at 1.0.9 or higher)

    in regards to my fallen comment, this used to be a great plugin so easy to use and we all loved it, it was a sad day when it ceased to work and the developer seemed awol so we abandoned it for npcx, no where as easy to configure but it worked. this new one has a ton of config files and directories, the wikki is very short and not very helpful (im not trying to be nasty or mean its just not that helpful)

    " You mean since this is our NPC plugin, we aren't allowed to have NPCs with our names running around?" with out telling server admins and not even mentioning in the getting started that by default furwall will be running around. yeah sorry thats wrong. add to getting started under configuration "by default an npc called furwall will be running around to disable open mob.yml and change it to false" and then no one has an issue with it, maybe im the only one that dislikes undocumented stuff thrust onto my server but theres a reason i read through the wikkis and readmes before i install, i want to know exactly what im installing and how to use it

    all that is terribly negative and im sorry for that as i can see apart from those two issues (one of which u say is fixed in the dev build) this can be a great plugin and i have the deepest of respect for all plugin creators with out them our servers would be very boring and bland.

    Do NPCs act as players, in that they keep resources allocated to them, keeping chunks loaded, spawning monsters, all that?

    First, learn 2 read. Second, read previous posts. And now that you are caught up, open your /plugins/citizens folder, and edit the line

    Is it me or does this plugin have the dumbest users....cant anyone read anything anymore. While I do see this on other plugins, this one has to be the worse.

    I wish bukkit gave the plugin developers the right to delete posts. It would at least make it faster for us who do read, the ability to find what we are looking for faster.

    I just downloaded the most recent DEV build, have econplugin set to true, and I'm still getting the "you need more flowers" issue.

    Any NPC spawn command, and toggle trader.
    Of course, I may have screwed up with the updating.
    Let me go isolate it on a test server and see if the problem persists. (test server with iConomy, obviously)
    Huh. Guess I just messed up when transferring files on the FTP. Sorry, still adjusting to a new host, so a few transfer protocols are different. :x

    Works fine on my test server, so disregard my last 'heads up'

    Working as intended for us so far.

    Suggestions for Traders:

    - Allow copying of Traders along with their settings (maybe a clone feature or copy settings?). It would help with creating the same trader with multiple items in a different location

    - If possible, drag and drop to and from trader/player inventory to buy/sell would rock!

    Keep up the good work! Oh, and I liked having your company on our server....but I haven't seen those evil NPC's in a while...I think they ran off. lol

    What did you do differently on the test server?
    Or which plugins do you have on prime server that aren't on test?
    Because try as I might, there is no way to get this working after 1.0.8f (that one didn't work at all. After g the economy broke)

    Are you using the most recent DEV build (aka, not the full bukkit release, but the #242 build on their project site?)
