It's easier to play Blockey (a minigame invented by Triadian) in minecraft with this plugin!

How to play Blockey:
How to play can be found here: . It's a tutorial by inthelittlewood.

How to use to Blockey plugin:

• By saying "/Blockey" (case-insensitive) you register yourself for a blockey game.
• By saying "/Blockey" again you unregister yourself for the game
• (This is guided by the system. The server will send you a message if you registered / unregistered yourself after typing "/Blockey"
• If you are registered the next things happen:
  • If you pick up a slime ball, you become the next carrier. This includes
    • The server will send you a (green) message to notice you that you became The Carrier
    • Your displayname changes in "The Carrier"
    • You can no longer move. You can only jump and look around
  • You stay the carrier until
    • you drop the ball
    • you have carried the ball for 10 seconds. The server will automatically let you drop the ball!
  • When you lost / dropped the ball, the next things will happen
    • The server will send you a (red) message to notice you that you are no longer The Carrier
    • Your displayname changes in your normal name
    • You can move again!

What doesn't work with the Blockey plugin (yet):

• If there are two slime balls in the field that would problably mess up with the plugin.
• If the Carrier looks too far away the ball could get out of the stadium. I suggest that in this case the other team gets the ball.
• There is not yet a way of getting a ball, so you are going to need to kill slimes or to use the give command
• There is not yet a way of registering a score in game so you're going to make this yourself
• The 60 dirt blocks are not yet handled in this plugin. So it's possible to place illegal dirt blocks!!!

is there a way to copy and paste the palincraft blockey arena to a different world? or make a blockey arena by default?

 

@caske33 still updating this? Could you make the teams random on /blockey?

 

I'll be working on this further in august. Maybe I'll add team support with random and custom teams.

Not yet available but which ones do you want? I don't think it's needed for what the plugin is right now...

What kind of team indicating were you guys thinking of... Or shouldn't be there a team indicating...

 

for now just a node that let's Players say /blocky

 

I have just made this little change in the plugin. I have not tested it yet so... it is a unofficial v1.1 release (attached to this post). It adds a permission node 'blockey.commands.blockey' Normally if you don't have permissions plugin. you should be able to do all that you could do before.

Btw it's Blockey not Blocky.

well first off update it xD It doesn't seem to do anything when i type /blockey on the other hand it doesn't say it isn't a command.

You should add features like the ones in PVPArena (I mean the entering the arena features).
And after all that you should contact all the best arena devs (like PVParena, MobArena, Spleef etc.) and get together to make the ultimate APP (Arena Plugin Pack)! The app part wasn't meant, it just worked out xD

In my opinion I think it's easier that each plugin is a stand-alone... Because when people want for example no spleef, they should be able to do so...

Be aware, it's been editted to use snowballs as the ball now.
