I believe last time sometime like this showed up on the bukkit forums it got shut down...

 

The difference is they asked first. It took them a while to receive an explicit no. If it takes even a quarter as long for this to get shut down, there will still have been a good number of servers given out and a good amount of advertising that went up in exchange.

I could use one if there are any left. So far as my status as a plugin dev, I have previous coding experience but am just moving on to the Bukkit scene. My first plugin is going through the submissions process at BukkitDev, and it is in fact, not just a 10 second remake of a previous plugin .

this sounds dodgy!! free services? nothing is ever free. whats the point when you can run a test server on your machine anyway?

Anyway YOU SHOULD NOT be posting your email address for everyone to see (if you really want to give it, pm instead), it leaves you open for hackers. (yes its happened to me) therefore learn from my mistake!!!
