File Approval Proccess

So I made a plugin and uploaded it and it got accepted. Now it says that I need to upload a file. I did and it has been quite a few hours now and I still do not have it approved. Do I need to click something or go somewhere to submit it or just wait?

And yes, the approval process will take some time.

 

All plugins submitted are viewed by BukkitDev staff for anything malicious, as you can imagine they get a lot of request, so it can take a couple of days even for them to get around to reviewing your upload, but as soon as they do you'll get a PM!

They only send you a PM if it's rejected

 

Mine have all been within 24 hours, so just be patient.

 

My last one took ~50 hours. I guess it's because of the amount of code, but it's really not all that much still.

 

I get PMs of its accepted.

Just saying, it depends on BukkitDev staff's availability, I waited a week once.

That seems unlikely unless we were waiting on you to make a modification.

No, it happened during some holiday, it was a while ago. Anyways, it was just to inform people that the staff have a life too, and shouldn't be bugging them to get their files approved.

 

You only receive a PM if your project is accepted, not your file.

 

Since you're bukkitdev staff, since you are also one of the people who review and approve plugins, can you just instantly push your plugins to release, or does another bukkitdev staff have to review your plugin and approve it? I was just curious

 

We don't give ourselves any priority.
